Little Foxy Lainey Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 My football team means so much to me but i do think most of the players on the pitch have no love for our club - its just a game and there is no passion which i think is just a stage at which football has got to!
Little Foxy Lainey Posted 26 February 2011 Author Posted 26 February 2011 reason = money. i totally agree but i find it very frustrating!!!
Unit Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I'd say Waghorn and Wellens are both pretty passionate, however the likes of Yakubu, Ricardo, Aanholt etc sometimes look like they couldn't give 2 ****s if the club disappeared tommorow

However there are exceptions to this, just not very often
Mee Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I'd say Waghorn and Wellens are both pretty passionate, however the likes of Yakubu, Ricardo, Aanholt etc sometimes look like they couldn't give 2 ****s if the club disappeared tommorow I would add King and when he plays, Howard to that list. Both show that they love to win for the fans and such. Agree with the others as well.

cairnsy Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 People are more determined if it's their club, fact. However some show it more than others. Saying people dont have passion is just idiotic. They are passionate, they want to play, they want to achieve. If they achieve the club achieves and vice versa so there will always be passion

shailen Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I totally disagree, everyone in the leicester team tried really hard today and their passion cant be questioned. Only player is the YAK but hes been that kind.of player every game ive seen him play. How can you question the players passion when they never stopped attacking, going for the win until the final whistle, i dont understand it. Our run has been all about team spirit and passion, all the players are working for one another, and two bad results later its beong questioned? Which player dint look passionate today?
lcfc22 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I could also add Naughton to that list he seems very pasionate and is also very consitent!
Jackirius Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 Naughton is the only one of the Loanees which i think shows passion. Waggy, King, Howard and Wellens are the only other ones. Some footballers just have other ways of dealing with things though.
davieG Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 Just because someone doesn't visible show their passion doesn't mean they're not passionate, people have different characteristics and behavioural responses.

B52 Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 How does the actim rating stand for our players. I presume the best player is the one that runs most and still get goals and assists...... And involved in winning games.
Fosse Boy Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 To some of the squad we probably are just a stepping stone/another payday but that's the nature of professional football I'm afraid. As said people like Waghorn, King, Wellens stand out as players who genuinely seem to care for the club and the fans. Sure there's many more could be added to that list though.
smallpauldj Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 have we already forgot the whole team running up to waggy after the final whistle vs bristol city. There is passion there
Legend_in_blue Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 So there's no passion from Sol Bamba? Harsh.
Corky Posted 27 February 2011 Posted 27 February 2011 There was no lack of passion, a lack of quality at times maybe but it wasn't for the want of trying.
