Looking Ahead

1. I'd like an uneventful summer free from managerial upheaval

2. If King leaves, which isn't impossible, particularly if he plays and plays well against England next weekend, I'd hope we make £5 million

3. I'd look for about 4 signings. Naughton, a left back, a new hard tackling midfielder, and a new striker

4. I'd like those signings to be youngsters, whether they be Prem fringe players, or lower league stars

5. I have no interest in Yakubu, regardless of which division we're in

6. I'd like us to complement those four permo signings with no more than 3 or 4 loanees to plug the gaps. Again, I want youngsters from the UK or abroad

7. I don't want any loanees where there is a suggestion they need to play a certain number of games

8. Ricardo was a nice idea, but I don't think it has worked. I would be happy with Weale as number one, and Ambrusics on the bench

9 I'd hope that Schlupp, Parkes and o'Neill regularly make the bench

10. I'd want Hobbs at our club

11. I'd want us to field a proper reserve team

12. I'd like the whole matchday experience at the Walkers to become so much more positive than it is now. I'd like to intimidate the opposition with the passion we show for our boys rather than mindless baiting of the visiting fans

13. I wouldn't want us linked with any 'big name' signings

14. I'd release Oakley, Moreno, N'Guessan and Logan. I'd keep either Lamey or Neilson as reserve right back, and release the other

15. I'd like the Club to value us as supporters, not just customers. I'd encourage stewards to smile and be welcoming. I'd abandon a health and safety policy that obliges fans to obtain a certificate for a flag to ensure it is no a fire risk, this in a non smoking environment

16. I'd encourage us to always take the game to the opposition, rather than fearing what they might do to us

We have good owners, a manager, like him or loathe him, who is extremely well regarded in world football. We have a good new stadium. We have excellent support, particularly away from home. However we have a fanbase a little quick to see the negative side of things. I remember Warnock bemoaning the lack of spirit in his QPR team that we walloped 4-0 last April. We, like them back then, have a few too many loanees, but Sven was in a tricky position when he arrived. He had to make changes, and at least we're not contemplating relegation as looked distinctly possible in late September. This season has been a bit of a mess really, but if we make good decisions this summer, good times lies ahead.

A good steady summer, and we can be next season's QPR, I'm convinced

He is not that well regarded mate if the only job he could get was down here. 'Giz a job Sven' is what they call him

Cant you say anything positive?

Agree on the majority of issues, more so on the young talent, than ageing "stars" than anything else.

This, for me, above anything else.

We desperately need some stability.

This may depend on events elsewhere in Europe. if a Serie A club comes sniffing I wonder if Sven will be tempted?

2. If King leaves, which isn't impossible, particularly if he plays and plays well against England next weekend, I'd hope we make £5 million

No danger on either count. Even Gary Speed must have heard about his current lack of form. He may develop more in the top flight, as Richard Stearman has done. I don't see him as someone to be kept at all costs.

This, this, this and this..

Don't think the manager will go with that. If he stays, it's pretty guaranteed that Weale, Berner, Hobbs, Dyer and Waghorn won't.

9 I'd hope that Schlupp, Parkes and O'Neill regularly make the bench

If they're good enough - I'm not sure O'Neill is..

11. I'd want us to field a proper reserve team

Agreed..

A good steady summer, and we can be next season's QPR, I'm convinced

Except Warnock knows far about this division than Sven does. We could just as easily end up as next season's Sheffield United.

Don't want much mate do you???

This is why we all love the game so much and enjoy supporting our clubs.

The game would be very boring if everything went to plan.

Agree on most parts. We can blitz the title next season or at least come close if Sven is given the backing to build his own team. He's made some good loan signing and had a decent first season. I like the guy, but will only really make a judgement on how good he is for us next season. Yakubu i'd like to keep around and see what he can do when he really gets settled in and is back to the form he's capable of. However, I think Waghorn needs a good run in the team. Think he's good enough to be a decent championship or even premiership striker given the chance to improve and get games under his belt. Ricardo can go, good effort but not good enough anymore. Hobbs will hopefully be back. We all know he's good enough. However I would like a couple of big signings, even if just to see the kind of players we can expect to get if Sven takes us up.
