C.J Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 Right, theres another big game on Saturday (apart from Coalville town v Kings Lynn), so if King scored how would you feel?
The Doctor Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 Well i may not be the best person to answer that question - put simply i'd be ecstatic, even more so if it was the winner or part of a big win for the welsh.
jonthefox Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 Well i may not be the best person to answer that question - put simply i'd be ecstatic, even more so if it was the winner or part of a big win for the welsh. For me,as long as its not the winner i'd be happy for him.
Simmo86 Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 If it made no difference to the result (ie England win) i'd be happy, but........if it was a winner for the welsh or equaliser then i'd be pissed off. Not at Kingy but at the shitouts in the White shirts
The Doctor Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 england till i die. Surely you'd want to see a city player doing well on the international stage though?
Charl91 Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 I'd rather he played well, but not quite as well as England. For me, England > Leicester > Everywhere else. Would also like Rooney to be dropped for someone more useful. Like Bent, Heskey, or my nan. But thats a different issue....
Simmo86 Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 Surely you'd want to see a city player doing well on the international stage though? Aslong as if doesnt result in an embarrasing defeat for our great nation!

NorthEastFox Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 3-0 Wales win. king king and king. yeaaaaahhhhhh (i am english). Those fluffed up premier league players need a leveller, also i want an english manager (its the taking part with the best we have in england that counts, not the hiring of foreign succesful managers). End of rant.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 personally I'll focus on how King plays more than our performance
Finchy Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 Am I the only one that isn't even slightly interested in England internationals these days? I find it very hard to support those players, I found the world cup hilarious to be honest.
The Doctor Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 quite a delay in double posting there. edit: aye, England aren't great - think of them as real madrid - fairly good individual players but they can't work as a team and so the team has been living off past glories and hasn't done much, if anything, of note in recent history.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 Aslong as if doesnt result in an embarrasing defeat for our great nation! aren't you used to the embarrassing defeats yet?
Simmo86 Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 quite a delay in double posting there. thought i posted it, came back from making my lunch for tomorrow and the post screen was still there! thought better safe than sorry and sent it out there again!
Simmo86 Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 aren't you used to the embarrassing defeats yet? Losing to the Welsh would be on a different level, I can take losing 4-1 to the Germans but losing to the Welsh is just unthinkable!
anotherharboroughfox Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 Losing to the Welsh would be on a different level, I can take losing 4-1 to the Germans but losing to the Welsh is just unthinkable! true, but our great nation never fails to surprise me...

I got no connection with this England side but of overpaid overrated ****wits! Its just national pride which makes me want to win on Saturday. If it was any other game I wouldn't be watching!
the_foxes_till_i_die Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 If a loss would mean the end of fabio i'd love us too lose( sounds a bit crazy), really want redknapp in there
Ajax Treesdown Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 I hope England win but if Wales nick it and King scores a 90th minute winner.....I will laugh!! Fabio is a joke

Matt Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 I want England to win, but have a feeling of being not bothered at the same time, I just havn't got the 'pashun' for England anymore, used to love England games, but nowadays they are just a good excuse for a piss up, Don't get me wrong i'd be jumping on the bandwagon if we ever won anything but I seem to care less and less about England games. As for King scoring, No, I don't want him to score, because I don't want him playing, no offence to the lad, I wanna see him do well, but for us, he needs a rest, as his drop in form is because he's tired imo, can't slag the lad off he's had a great season but last few games you can't argue that he's not been on top form, he needs a rest, but if he does play good luck to him and hope he plays well.
