brockmyster Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 When leicester have played away games against teams further south than us we have ended up with the league record of (Norwich included in this): Pld 11 W 0 D 1 L 10 Scored 9 Conceded 25 That leaves in the games against teams further north : Pld 9 W 6 D 2 L 1 Scored 15 Conceded 12 Total opposites...
The Doctor Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 Good job Donny and Forest are just north of here then.
1964FOX Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 Can someone ring Reading and ask if they will play at Carlisle's ground on Saturday.
Fosse Boy Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 Very interesting, although Norwich is further north than Leicester (something I consistently had to point out to Norfolk folk who used to call me northern).
Foxblogger Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 I suppose the fact that 8 of the bottom 9 are in the 'North' and (by the original posters definition) 4 of the top 6 are in the 'South' makes this divide in results slightly less surprising.
ScouseFox Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 Yeah, what foxblogger says, it's not surprising at all really if you look at the table. QPR, Cardiff, Swansea, Norwich, Mill, Watford etc. all up there, meanwhile Preston, S****horpe, Sheff Yoo, Barnsley, Middlesboro etc. are all down there. Let's get our first southern win on Saturday then.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 Relocate our home games to Southampton so we need to travel north for every game
Basingstoke Fox Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 Shocking really. Glad I was working on the day of most of these games because it meant I couldn't go. I'd love a win bs Reading though. Please Sven make us destroy them.
