21st Century Fox Posted 15 April 2011 Posted 15 April 2011 I'd have to go for The Yak closely followed by Naughton and Van Aanholt.
Brown Fox Posted 15 April 2011 Posted 15 April 2011 Looking at that it is crazy the amount of quality goals we have scored this season. They even had to miss out King vs Leeds and Naughton vs Cov! Great to watch! Even on the goals of the week on BBC sport we have 3 goals on it which is more than any other team.
Kitchandro Posted 15 April 2011 Posted 15 April 2011 Good vid, shame King's v Leeds isn't in the list, I would definitely have that in my top 3. The other 2 would be Naughton's V Barnsley and Yak's v Derby.
lcfcadam Posted 15 April 2011 Posted 15 April 2011 Seems rather odd that the ACTUAL best goal of the season isn't in there. We're losing 2-1 to the hated Leeds with time running out in front of a big Boxing Day crowd - big pressure situation - and a certain someone pops up with a stunning half-volley off the underside of the bar from over 20 yards to level it up. And you're telling me that a clean but hardly spectacular finish from the edge of the area when we're already 3-0 up against Burnley is more deserving of a place in the Goals of the Year list? I won't be voting.
The Doctor Posted 15 April 2011 Posted 15 April 2011 No king v leeds or his first at home to barnsley? The goals v cov and sheff yoo were special but those two were something else, the barnsley one would have been unexpected of even messi, lobbing the keeper when he was 2 yards off his line? Superb.
Guest Bilo Posted 15 April 2011 Posted 15 April 2011 1. King v Derby just for the sheer quality of the move leading up to it. A whirlwind of one touch football on the break and just the kind of goal that should get everyone excited for next season. 2. Naughton v Barnsley was a belter, keeper never even saw it. That lad has a shot and a half on him, massive if we can get him in next season. 3. Yakubu v Derby. The strength to hold off his man, the skill to keep the ball and turn, then the awareness to put it just where the keeper couldn't get to it showed his quality.
FoxyPV Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 We have scored some cracking goals this season. I forgot how good King's goal v Coventry was and his goal v Derby. Tough choices.
