Let's all do the Poznan

Wanna be doing it tomorrow if we score (whole away end)

no, Goal celebrations are supposed to be random, spontaneous expressions of sheer euphoria, not organised and pre-meditated like "the poznan".

Also those shirts are unbelievably retarded.

But the Poznan is never and has never been the initial reaction to the goal, there is always the celebrations first, and then the Poznan.

Only Stoke fans would wear them t-shirts. That's how shit they are.

I'd rather be watching the match than jumping the wrong way :dunno:

Plus my dad has just had key hole surgery on his knee so he will barely be able to stand for 90 minutes let alone jump up and down.

Really surprised at the hostility towards the OP. Seems like a bit of fun to me; certainly not worthy of the sort of criticism being offered in this thread.

I know, people chant that and I think it's really poor. And now to make a t-shirt out of it. No thanks.

Nobody chants that when they do it.

It's nothing personal at him. This is indicative of the modern football fan though and some may think it's an overreaction but I just think it's this kind of thing (obviously this is a small part of it) that is taking the soul out of football.

The poznan or Grecque or whatever you want to call it is great, I don't care if some people find it embarrassing, I'm not going to stop doing it. I agree the shirts are retarded though.

I think it's an attempt at putting a little soul back into football. It is a goal response which developed completely independently of any official input from the club; the fans decided to do it based on what they had seen abroad. It's the first time I have seen Leicester fans decide as a partial collective how they are going to celebrate a goal together. I think we need more developments like this, not less.

I'm not talking about doing it (i'm a big fan if you read a few posts up), i'm talking about the t-shirt. It looks good, it doesn't take anything from the initial celebrations etc, it's just when we need to wear t-shirts to try and get people to have a bit of fun and create a bit of atmosphere...it just doesn't sit right.

If it was Cov doing this we'd have a 10 page thread ripping them to pieces.

Point taken. We probably would have something to say about it if another club did it. I don't think the t-shirt will have any effect on the number of people doing it. It's hardly the start of a pro-Poznan campaign; just a bit of fun. I take your point though; contrived atmosphere is sometimes as bad as no atmosphere.

For the last time, no one sings lets all do the poznan.

This is what people chant:
