Larry_LCFC Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 I wonder if Lech would ever get the chance to come to Leicester and observe our fans. Would they then go back to Poznań and consistently boo their keeper, create and repeat a racist chant to a foreign midfielder, fall completely silent when behind at home and call it 'the Leicester'? Suppose it would atleast put our club on the map.. would be great when forest catch on aswell and start singing "lets all do the leicester" ... think you should suggest it to em
Fosse Boy Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 I can cope with people doing it after we've scored but if we ever start doing at any random moment during the game, like Man City have started doing, then it will become embarrasing. Depends on the context. Personally think it would be an amazing show of unity if we're 1-0 up away at Forest next season and defending a corner in the 90th minute.

Personally I think it's retarded that we do it as a wacky goal celebration.
Bugg Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 Lighten up, It might look retarded to some of you lot but as long as the people doing it are having fun doing it then why should it matter?
EnglishOxide Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 Depends on the context. Personally think it would be an amazing show of unity if we're 1-0 up away at Forest next season and defending a corner in the 90th minute. That's stupid. Like, properly ****ing stupid. That's not a sign of unity, in this country, that's a sign of not giving a shit.
Larry_LCFC Posted 17 May 2011 Posted 17 May 2011 I admit i do cringe at it and it isnt original but then again so what? If thats how people want to celebrate then whats the harm. Doesnt really make them morons or whatever people are calling them. Do hope we come up with something of our own next season though.
lee7 Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 Personally I think it's retarded that we do it as a wacky goal celebration. why??
Houdini Logic Posted 18 May 2011 Posted 18 May 2011 If this catches on nationally I wonder who's ground will be the first to fall apart/collapse? Place your bets...
Simmsy Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Talking of 'nicking chants' etc, as some people are saying. Did anyone else hear Reading doing the "we're the right side over here... etc" thing at Cardiff. I think they've started doing it since they joined in with us when we did it at the Madjeski :L Who else does it?
Dan Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Talking of 'nicking chants' etc, as some people are saying. Did anyone else hear Reading doing the "we're the right side over here... etc" thing at Cardiff. I think they've started doing it since they joined in with us when we did it at the Madjeski :L Who else does it? Fvcking hell I forgot they joined in to us doing that. Jesus christ, imagine those fvcking ****** in the top flight, the thought makes me cringe.
CosbehFox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 That's stupid. Like, properly ****ing stupid. That's not a sign of unity, in this country, that's a sign of not giving a shit. I think that's the actual point of the continent. Or so I was told. The reason Lech did it on the day they faced Man City was showing annoyance at their recent league performances.

Kitchandro Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Depends on the context. Personally think it would be an amazing show of unity if we're 1-0 up away at Forest next season and defending a corner in the 90th minute. As if that would happen
lcfc"weasel" Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 As if that would happen It won't, it should though.
lcfcadam Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 As if that would happen I don't think he was suggesting that there's any likelihood of it actually happening...
Kitchandro Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 It won't, it should though. I'm not sure it should, as someone else said, if you're turning you back when we've got a chance of conceding in the last minute it must mean you couldn't care less if you concede.
AlphaMaleFox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 I think that's the actual point of the continent. Or so I was told. The reason Lech did it on the day they faced Man City was showing annoyance at their recent league performances. Sir, You are deluded. Before you respond, check You Tube, please...
anotherharboroughfox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 why?? don't get me wrong it looks great! It's just, as Fosse Boy said, I prefer it as a sign of unity rather than a wacky goal celebration. Just personal preference. Sorry for expressing my opinion, O great one!
fatmando Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 A few years back I went with a friend to watch Man Utd vs Copenhagen. It wasn't a celebration but the Danes all had their arms over each others shoulders jumping up and down whilst chanting and then the 20 rows or so of linked people would move left say 5 seats then right. Looked much better than the Poznan. No chance at all of us doing this at home obviously (or away probably) but would I would love to do it on an away day. Would create a party like atmosphere.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 I'm not sure it should, as someone else said, if you're turning you back when we've got a chance of conceding in the last minute it must mean you couldn't care less if you concede. In my opinion, it would show that whether you win, lose, draw, concede to our most hated rivals in the last minute that we're still willing to go mental for you and show our support no matter the circumstances. Don't get me wrong, conceding in the last minute away at Forest would cut me up deeply inside but I'd still want to show my support visually and vocally and the grecque is a great way of doing this.
CosbehFox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Sir, You are deluded. Before you respond, check You Tube, please... Fair enough, I think deluded is the wrong choice of word. I am fully aware of the grecque and it's history on the continent. However, I believe its origin comes from showing dissatification about the particular fans' club. http://s6.invisionfree.com/UltrasTifosi/ar/t3163.htm Tons of 'em
The Doctor Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Sir, You are deluded. Before you respond, check You Tube, please... How does that disprove what cardiff_fox said?
