RGFox Posted 23 May 2011 Posted 23 May 2011 Just stumbled on this from the footballshirtculture site... http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/other-uk-clubs/championship/leicester.html Might be handy for anyone with some extra monies hanging about ...
bardonfox Posted 23 May 2011 Posted 23 May 2011 That's pretty cool. Got some lovely classics there. Shame I'm skint though...
millzi Posted 23 May 2011 Posted 23 May 2011 Toffs.com is a good website for retro shirts. Loads more than that website, and older kits.
bluebeau Posted 23 May 2011 Posted 23 May 2011 Anyone interested in a 'collectors' item? Do you remember the Leicester City Trainer shoes? I have a pair of size 9 in excellent condition, I don't think I ever wore them, 'cos at the time they came out people were taking the piss out of those that wore them! They are white with blue trim, or blue with white trim, can't remember which to be honest & I'm on holiday at present, so I can't check. They have emblazened on them, Leicester City, got to be worth a small fortune!!! Any sensible offers?
danlcfc4ever Posted 23 May 2011 Posted 23 May 2011 Seen that site before, Its got some quality classics on there but they have your pants down on price... ****ing wish I'd held onto my old shirts!! my first city kit was that Bukta one.
Cat Burger Posted 23 May 2011 Posted 23 May 2011 1992-94 home was my first one. I wouldn't wear it as it was too itchy around the collar. Stupid kid.
sdb Posted 23 May 2011 Posted 23 May 2011 They;'ve been on there for years now. Price has come down a little on a few of them. There's been the odd beauty crop up and go in an instant.
RGFox Posted 24 May 2011 Author Posted 24 May 2011 I do think the real valuable ones are the pre-Fox Leisure ones...as 1992 onwards was the era where footy shirts started becoming popular, around the time the PL was formed (1991 I think)
Austin Posted 24 May 2011 Posted 24 May 2011 Bought a few tops from that site over the years, Great stuff and the guys really decent if you email him .. The more expensive shirts can be paid in installments
Alexikokopops Posted 24 May 2011 Posted 24 May 2011 Toffs.com is a good website for retro shirts. Loads more than that website, and older kits. Except that Toffs is remakes of the original, where as the OP's link is for originals
lcfc"weasel" Posted 24 May 2011 Posted 24 May 2011 Except that Toffs is remakes of the original, where as the OP's link is for originals I was thinking that.
Guest Bilo Posted 25 May 2011 Posted 25 May 2011 Wish they had the 90-92 shirt in a Medium. I loved that shirt and it's still nice looking now.
