cornish fox Posted 25 May 2011 Posted 25 May 2011 Apologies if this isn't the right place but Andy King is playing for Wales against Scotland right now in that "Carling Nations Cup"...

I am Rod Hull Posted 25 May 2011 Posted 25 May 2011 If you have SKY sports you should take a look at this.. http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=73169
I am Rod Hull Posted 25 May 2011 Posted 25 May 2011 he looks knackered, unsurprisingly same thought... not tracking runners O_o
funkyrobot Posted 25 May 2011 Posted 25 May 2011 same thought... not tracking runners O_o He hasn't been for city so why change?
Fox92 Posted 26 May 2011 Posted 26 May 2011 he looks knackered, unsurprisingly He always looks knackered. For his age, is he very unfit? Or does he tire easily? When you see other midfielders, they never look knackered.
AmyLGK Posted 26 May 2011 Posted 26 May 2011 I always think he looks ill - maybe there is an underlying issue that we don't know about..... (I've just watched Black Swan so I apologise for my thought process...)
Haydos Posted 26 May 2011 Posted 26 May 2011 Do any of you realise how many games he's played in the last 3 years? And he still manages to not actually be exhausted, despite what his face looks like.
Corky Posted 26 May 2011 Posted 26 May 2011 Do any of you realise how many games he's played in the last 3 years? And he still manages to not actually be exhausted, despite what his face looks like. Exactly.
Haydos Posted 26 May 2011 Posted 26 May 2011 Exactly. According to Wikipedia it's 151 games in the last 3 seasons. If you don't include close season that's an average of a game every 5 days for 3 years. And I'm willing to bet he hasn't been subbed in many.

He's one of those players that often looks jaded and unfit, then he makes an untracked run to get on the end of a chance. If kingy was a little physically stronger he would be a top player IMO. He is unfortunately bundled off the ball a bit easily.. But his other attributes (a very good head for the game and the ability to slow/quicken the pace) compensates well
