Molson Canadian Posted 13 June 2005 Posted 13 June 2005 50 cent came straight out of one of the worst area's in new york...he lost his parents at a young age...started selling crack...got kicked out of school...moved drugs for local drug dealers...became a well know street hustler...started making rap music but then got shot 9 times at once...got dropped by the label he was with then...continued to rap and then eminem found him and has made him into what he is now... there's no denying his gangster roots as for his music his rapping is alright although his rap is slow i think it might have to do with a bullet that went through his right cheek infact you can still see the scar on his face... i heard somewhere that when he raps in the studio his music has to be altered afterwards to sound as if he's rapping faster in order for it to make sense to when listening to it
