If we're going to play 4-4-2 next season then I have my doubts on King being one of the two in the middle, his tendency to go missing could and would leave Wellens/Danns/Abe exposed.

If we're still playing 4-3-3 then he has to be a starter as that's where we'll get the best from him.

So no, we shouldn't sell him but the "OMG WTF" responses are a little OTT.

4-4-2 is simple yes. Do we play like that? No...Sven plays 3 in centre mid because we cant control the game otherwise + it suits our style very well and allows full backs to go forward and join the attack without leaving us too exposed at the back

Why sell our top goalscorer? That would not show loyalty and we wouldn't sell anyway as Sven wouldn't have got him to sign a contract extension if he wasn't part of his plans. Personally i think this is a stupid idea and when King is one of our best players

We have the best set of central midfielders to chose from since the O'Neill days and would much rather have a choice of King, Wellens, Abe, Danns and to a lesser extent Oakley to choose from than the likes of Steven Hughes, Gareth Williams and Danny Tiatto out of position.

With the arrival of Danns, we now have 5 Quality center midfielders, should we sell King to make room and a fair amount of money? If not who should we sell?

Personally i wouldnt mind seeing him going to everton with Yak and money coming our way.
