Got A VHS Player?

Recommended Posts

Basicially, I've got 10 seasons worth of LCFC season reviews (93/94-03/03) and as I dont have a VHS anymore, I dont watch them and therefore i'm sure someone else could make better use of them. They all work and are in decent nick. If anyone wants them for a small fee, let me know.

Someone convert the videos to .avi or .mov files - I'm sure many would like to watch some old games on their computer at home.

Or at least put them on YouTube or something.

I suppose we can void the copyright issue somehow...whistle.gif

Anyone know how to put these from VHS to internet? :S

On a Mac you can get software to turn VHS into a digital file. From there it's pretty easy to cut the file into bite-size pieces for YouTube etc.

Assume you could do similar stuff on a PC too.

Copying them to other formats may be possible provided they do not have copywrite protection on them.

I know that most Videos from the 80's onward tend to have this on them.

This prevents transferring the media onto say a DVD.

If copying is possible then I could copy them all on to DVD for you and then convert them to AVI or MPEG 4 files.

You could watch them however you wanted then.

None of the season reviews have copyright on them. I have 17 Leicester VHS' on DVD (including 90/91-01/02 inclusive), transferred them about 5 years ago now.

The best way to upload them if you didn't have the devices to do it would be to copy to DVD, convert the DVD file through a good converter, and then upload in chnks to YT or a filehost for one big file.
