I don't speak Swedish without resorting to names of Ikea furniture and going *jingen vingen hyurgen" a lot, but I could tell he was saying something about his intentions being to manage Leicester City in the Premier League.

So yes. Behave. :trumpet:

when the reported said about the premier league, he actually said nah.

He laughs, when the interviewer asks him, when he will return to Sweden to manage their national team; and then he says, he needs to get Leicester into Premier League first. No worries.

Just registered here to transcript this:

Sven: It was nice, we played some good soccer at times, we made some mistakes, as one should expect in the first match.

Reporter: Did the team play at PL-level?

Sven: No, but you really cant expect that this early in the season

Reporter: When will you take over the national team?

Sven: First I'll take Leicester to the Premier Leauge

Cheers from a red wishing you all the best the coming season!

Dven said yesterday, he was very close to take the job when he was at Notts County but now he never think it's going to happen.

I think he's pretty set on taking Leicester to Permier League - if he doesnät do that this season then he will be 100 % fired from the owners.

He gets his chance this year to get it right, if he doesn't well then someone else will take over.

There seriously can't be many jobs in football Sven would leave for at the minute. There aren't many clubs who have the money to spend that Sven has at this time, it seems he's got more at his disposal than a fair few prem teams. It seems he's got HIS project going on here, and I for one would be massively surprised if he left on his own accord. :sge:

if he does leave for the sweden national job i hope MON will be available surely he would concider a return if the club still had a good financial backing

Please stop this rubbish, Sven is not leaving and he is no way going to be the next manager of Sweden. Sweden newly appointed Erik Hamren, and he is doing a splended job, so please stop this nonsence

chill out fella no one is saying sven is leaving now he has a 2 year contract and plans to promote the club to the premiership before moving on, read the whole thread first may help give you a better understanding rather than reading the last comment and jumping to conclusions

..and Sweden has a young, on the up, manager. It takes a lot of failure to get rid of him.

What an absolute waste of a thread, people jumping to conclusions who can't even understand the bloody language and saying he is leaving us
