Anish Posted 16 June 2005 Posted 16 June 2005 I've decided that I can't continue running the prediction league next season, so if anybody is interested in taking over my role, they are free to do so. Please express your interest here. It is fairly straightforward - you just need basic knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and a graphics programme like PSP or Photoshop. The final decision will be up to Mr Chainsaw so please PM him if you want to run it. Cheers people.

Guest CL Blue Army Posted 16 June 2005 Posted 16 June 2005 I didn't do it but it looks like you did a great job! Well done!
C-man Posted 16 June 2005 Posted 16 June 2005 Cheers Anish, i really hope someone of your quality can fill your boots
City Fan Posted 16 June 2005 Posted 16 June 2005 This may sound a crap suggestion, but I was thinking that it would be good if someone did another prediction game, seperate to this, where each poster starts off with a sum of money, and the person in charge looks on a bookies website before each match day and posts a couple of premiership odds and people bet a chosen amount of their money. After the results are in etc., the person in charge then reveals how much money each poster has now. I was thinking this could work not only with football, but also placing bets on other sports, and things like BB....... Thoughts?

City Fan Posted 16 June 2005 Posted 16 June 2005 I would offer to take charge of it, but don't know too much about betting.......

Dave_7 Posted 18 June 2005 Posted 18 June 2005 ill be dead before i consider placing bets on big brother
stulcfc Posted 18 June 2005 Posted 18 June 2005 i think its a good idear but it would be to complicated
C-man Posted 19 June 2005 Posted 19 June 2005 I would be interested in running it, where can i get a photoshop graphics program for free? Or would i have to pay for it?
Alexikokopops Posted 19 June 2005 Posted 19 June 2005 I wouldn't mind doing it, but I ain't got the graphics programme, is that important?
Mark Posted 19 June 2005 Posted 19 June 2005 It don't matter how the results look, any sort of table will do. Even something like this. But all you need to do a table like Anish is Excel and Powerpoint. POS MEM PL M S G B PTS Mr Chainsaw 10 2 1 0 1 10 Alex 10 1 1 0 1 8 C-Man 10 1 1 0 1 8
City Fan Posted 20 June 2005 Posted 20 June 2005 I wouldn't mind doing it..........I have several Graphics programmes....
C-man Posted 20 June 2005 Posted 20 June 2005 Maybe a joint admin, where I could send the points for each player to City Fan and he could put them up on his Graphics program?
Mark Posted 20 June 2005 Posted 20 June 2005 I don't mind who or how many want to take charge as long as it works out C-man, City Fan, and Alex[ikokopops] have all shown interest.. so its upto who wants it the most and has the time to update it
C-man Posted 20 June 2005 Posted 20 June 2005 I shall certainly have enough time to update all the scores, but i dont have the graphics program to do the table on. However, like i said, i wouldnt mind sending the data to city fan so he could put it in a table and put it on the site. Is that ok with you City Fan? Mr C.?
