Freeman's Wharfer Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Just seen that James Wesolowski has been released by Peterborough, having been placed on the transfer list at the start of June. Bit of a strange one considering he played 39 times in their promotion winning season last season so does anyone know why he's been released? Always thought he was a decent player for us, certainly helped us stay up a couple of times before the Holloway season, but injuries seem to have robbed him of a career at the higher levels. Hope he manages to find a club and still have a footballing future but with only a quarter of all free agents finding clubs this summer the odds are stacked against him somewhat. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14443813.stm
Stevosevic Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 Think he offered very little at this level to be honest, very one dimensional.
Fox92 Posted 8 August 2011 Posted 8 August 2011 I liked Wesolowski. He used to get stuck in, I was hopeful of his development but it was sadly ruined by several bad injuries. I remember him scoring a fairly good goal away at Fulham.
