Marmite Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Me and the mrs are currently arguing over the same sort of thing at the moment. We have just come back from Tenerife and made it in time for the 1st game against Cov, but next year she wants to go Lanzorote for 2 weeks in October which I am not happy about. I know it sounds sad but knowing my luck we will get promoted and I will miss some top games. I tried to suggest a log cabin in the lake district so I can come back for games but that went down like a lead balloon
sphericalfox Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Next year I'm having my summer holidays in the winter, I say this as I struggle to write this on the way to the beach.
Haydos Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Holiday, catch what's going on on here/sky/ bbc. Or go on holiday at a slightly different time?
sven-your-smiling Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 if it wasnt forest id say go, but the atmosphere in the city ground is to good to miss!!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 honestly wtf, call yourself a real supporter
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Hate missing games for holiday, thankfully not been the case this year though.
Bezzanator89 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 I'm off to Newquay in a week and will be missing the Bristol City game...but my mate will be using my card for that one so it's still okay. I'll live, though I'd love to see Maynard fall flat on his face when we beat Brizzle.
Yojoe36 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Going to a Leicester game, will always beat going on holiday
Guest MattP Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 10 years ago I would of said footy. Now I would say holiday.
samjohnson Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 The last time I went to Spain, I ate something really bad... I wont describe the next few days, I think you might've gathered. On that, and that alone, I'd say Football

zubi Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 I voted for the games... but thinking about how shit of a state England is at the moment with the riots id suggest a holiday... Go mate... Run as far away as you can!!! And please bring back some common sense for the youths if you can find it.
Munzie Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Need some help! I'm currently on holiday in Mexico and need to phone the ticket office to book Forest away. The 0844 number does not work abroad (tried +44 etc). Is there a 0116 number that I can try?
