One Arm Babba Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 it was like christmas day this morning, looking forward to the match to right the wrongs from Saturday.... .... now it feels like a funeral. I'm a masochist so i know i'll be back on saturday. We sounded clueless tonight. we all came in to this season with optimism.... and i'm willing to be patient, but, we seem to have gone backwards from the end of last season. I'm not pressing the panic button yet, but if we don't pick up a point in the next 2 games the alarm bells will be ringing.

Another terrible night for Sven, surely you lot remember his England days and how many times tactics were discussed after the game as we all pondered why Sven didn't seem to have any idea whatsoever...? Guest Col city fan Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 I fear that we are fast becoming a laughing stock... Club captain left on the bench and another performance devoid of any real clue. The players look VERY nervous and it looks like the massive expectation pre season has got to them. Sven sticks with one up top and I don't think this is working. With time and more importantly confidence, it could gel but I have this nasty feeling that something is fundamentally lacking. I still think that the signings we have made are good for this level and have performed well at other clubs. But we don't look a team, just a poorly assembled group of individuals. I go into the game with the trees with little confidence we will win. Ridiculous really.
