Ric Flair Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Team: Schmeichel Peltier Bamba St Ledger Konchesky Wellens King Fernandes Gallagher Nugent Dyer Mills dropped? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
darko2k7 Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Happy with that team, also happy mills was dropped . The players need to know that if they have a bad game like mills did then they get dropped no matter who they are.
sphericalfox Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 I don't think it's any surprise. If we are loose at the back the crowd will get on his back and turn against him, and we could do without that, and it would be nice to get the first 3 home points on the board.
lcfc81 Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 He's got some balls has Sven, lets see if it pays off. I was talking with my mate earlier saying in terms of performance Mills should be dropped but it wouldn't happen because he is the record signing and club captain. How wrong was I!
m00nie Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 would have preferred mills to keep his place myself.. show Saturday was a one off..
Foxinspain Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 hmm - brave from :sge: ! Nervous today - we have a habit of struggling against Brizzle!!
One Arm Babba Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Good team. I like the fact that Sven isn't afraid to drop Mills. He'll be quality for us i'm sure, but this sends the right message to the squad and gives St. Ledger his chance. i'm really happy with the midfield.
Dicko Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Surprised by the Mills decision! After one bad game? Other than that, I like the look of the team. Good to see Dyer in for some real width, and Gallagher too just because he does have an eye for something different. Game on!
Christoph Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Seems like a good team to me. Think its fair for mills to be dropped after the clanger he had last game and what with St ledger being a worthy replacement.
Jimothy Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Good to see one of the central midfielder's shoehorned in to the team has been replaced by a bit of creative spark with Gallagher. Good to see Dyer start, with Vassell out he's the only on who overs us both width and pace.
MikeyT Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Previous line up i got wrong. This is the correct one: Gerken; Spence, Wilson, Nyatanga, McAllister; Adomah, Elliott, Skuse, Kilkenny, Campbell-Ryce; Maynard
darko2k7 Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 would have preferred mills to keep his place myself.. show Saturday was a one off.. Yes but if you do that then you have to do it every player that as a bad game or how would the other players feel when they dont get the same chance mills got just beacuse he cost so much and is captain
Salieri Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Team: Schmeichel Peltier Bamba St Ledger Konchesky Wellens King Fernandes Gallagher Nugent Dyer Mills dropped? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm Can't really argue with that team, nice to see Sven being proactive. Peltier deserved to be recalled after injury and Mills needed a kick up the arse after Saturday, chance for St.Ledger to stake his claim. Good to see King in the side, hopefully will provide us with an extra goal threat. Gallagher and in particular Dyer should provide us with some much needed width. Up to the players now to go out there and put in a performance.
wellsy Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 What we needed to give the players, a kick up the arse. Play bad you will be dropped, fair play Sven. 2-0 Leicester, King and Nugent.
LestaFox92 Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Dropped danns aswell sven aint takin no shit son!
foxoffderby Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Right thing to do droping mills well done Sven. He's got balls
Saxondale Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Shame Pantsil's out, he had a belter on Saturday. Danns was semi-ok but kept giving away possession so out he goes.
AjcW Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Previous line up i got wrong. This: Gerken; Spence, Wilson, Nyatanga, McAllister; Adomah, Elliott, Skuse, Kilkenny, Campbell-Ryce; Maynard Thought they had signed Millwall overnight! Haha
Amin Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Sounds like Mills isn't happy, which understandable.
MikeyT Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Thought they had signed Millwall overnight! Haha I know, i just copied Fourth_Officials Tweet then realised afterwards.
