John Sullivan :worship:

One of the greatest writers the Country has ever seen in my opinion, but he'll never be classed up there along with the likes of Shakespeare and so on, although Sullivan had that technique of turning a funny moment into a sad moment as seen on Only Fools & Horses.

Favourite episode anyone? I love 'the unlucky winner is' when Rodney pretends to be 14 years of age.

OFAH for me.

Love that episode too. Absolutely brilliant. I'm having a brilliant time Sky + every episode atm.

My favourie episodes though are probably the two newer ones. Batman and Robin and the one where they find the watch and eventually become millionaires.

Don't find the scene of del at the bar and then falling through it all that funny though. It's kind of Mr Bean humour, rather than cleverly funny. (not saying its not funny, but its not a classic moment)

There are some brilliant one/two liners in some episodes, such as, 'not only did you sink every battleship in world war 2, now you've gone and knackered the gravy boat!'

I have every episode on DVD and I can watch them over and over again, the program is just classic.

Everybody loves when Del falls through the bar, but for me the bit thats funny is Triggers reaction as he circles, and then when Del gets back up and is walking with a limp.

I also like 'The second time around' when Pauline moves in. There are many episodes I love, and as you say, some of the lines are fantastic.
