MikeyT Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 10 changes apparently. But not seen the team anywhere yet.

Guest NGoloMode Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 No Johnson? Is he injured? Hopefully Schlupp gets a goal... or two.. or three.
squibly786 Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Lots of changes as expected. Is Johnson injured? Must be, cos surely would have started to give him some much needed game time.

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Surprising that Waghorn is on the bench, maybe he is on the way out.
Salieri Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 If Waggy can't even get on the bench for a game like this then he must be on the way out. (unless injured of course).

Collymore Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 I find that quite annoying with our club, no explanation why a player is no where to be seen. He's probably locked in a cupboard with Cirnic
Salieri Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 We pretty much already know this tbh. True, I was still hoping he might be staying. (I'm probably on my own there!).
topharry123 Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 So no Waggy, Howard or Kermorgant? Bit suprised that at least one of them isn't on the bench. Looks like they might all be off!
Petchy Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Hobbled off Saturday so possibly. If he was fit, no doubt he would of played as Bury's his old club.
Father Ted Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Waggy, Howard & Berner..... The Berner situation annoys me the most. IMO he was definitely better than both Cunningham and Van Aanholt last season but they were both preferred to him. Berner wanted to leave to play regularly but Sven thought of him as a good back up so played him for a couple of matches and gave him a new contract... then dropped him again. He's now brought Ball the roly poly in he must weigh the same as Jobber and is as slow as a 50-year old heavy smoker. There were rumours that Berner was going to be the new coach... but nothing has ever been confirmed?!

Should have been allowed to leave if Sven had no intention of ever using him. Would have been adequate back up for Konchesky, Ball was a needless signing really, just highlighted how little Sven rates Berner. He should leave while he can still play to a decent level.
MrAus Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Schlupp hat trick!!!!!!!!!!!! Waghorn and Howard must be bye-bye now. Shame really but if were aiming to go where we want, we need more quality than what them 2 can bring! Bring on Bury!
Salieri Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 I think Waggy will come good, sadly not for us it seems. Wonder if Pearson might be interested...
