Leicester Kit 1990's

Found this pic online:

The photo has the description 'Maglia Leicester 1990's'. Does anyone recognise this kit? I am collecting City shirts but have not come across this one before, nor do I remember a shirt being made by adidas? Also, there is no badge.

Any comments appreciated.

Are there any other clubs that were sponsored by Walkers Crisps? I doubt it was ever worn by a Leicester goalkeeper - as you say, there's no club badge, and I don't think our kit sponsor has ever been Adidas. Maybe it was an amateur club or a youth side? I was going to say maybe it was just an Adidas football kit for no particular club, but then why would it have a sponsor on it?

Narh we had Fox Leisure and not Adidas. And there's no City badge.

And I could spot every keeper kit we had in the 90s 'cos I owned most of them.

I think it might have been a younger team, maybe England Schoolboys, as I don't think the U21s have ever had sponsored shirts. But I think you're on the right lines as the U21s was my first reaction as well. I'm sure I remember an England youth team with kits sponsored by Walkers.

I think you're right! Adidas kit, exactly the same era, exact same Walkers Crisps logo. Good work, Sherlock Holmes!

Certainly more likely to be that than a Leicester kit, anyway.
