Another knee jerk reaction thread!

Mills goes from hero to zero etc,..... I'm sorry Mr chilli con carne but maybe you need to get a few more hobbies in your life other than watching highlights of city on tv and foxestalk

Take an interest in girls.... You'll be a lot happier in the long-run

Or not

What? Read it again and point out where Thrac said anything positive about those players? Perfectly valid to say he appears no great improvement for his £5m transfer fee.

Is he comparing them against the Hobbs/kisnorbo who started to perform ok down the line. Or the ones who looked utter guff when they first arrived though.

Perhaps comparisons should be made when he's at least got a 15/20 games under his belt. Kisnorbo was a laughing stock when he arrived, and when on to win player of the year. For me Hobbs looked rubbish also when he first arrived, but grew into a decent centre half and again won player of the year.

Yes you'd want more than a similar player for that money, but we should give him time to grow into something more as we did for them.

It is quite obvious we have badly overpaid for him. On current showing a fee of about 500k would look about right.

However, on a positive note he reminds me quite a lot of Gerry Taggart. Now he was pretty hopeless for his first few games for us and I can recall being at Filbert Street and people complaining about him being in the team, Anyway he turned out ok in the end.

What concerns me with Mills is not his lack of passion but rather more his lack of basic footballing skill I would attribute to a player supposedly worth £5m.

People need to stop moaning about the £5million price tag. Its not your money, and listen of course we want a more than average player for that money, but there's an awkward sense of anticipation, but realistically he's not going to stand out necessarily every game as a world beater. No one turns into a bad player over night. Go back 3 months and everyone of us would want us to sign him still so give him 10/15 games and I'm sure we will see the player he was at Reading. And as for the Tunchev mention, don't be ridiculous, he's played 75 mins for Leicester in the last 18 months, if he was ready Sven would put him in there. He's fit now, and extended his loan deal at Palace. I'm happy for him but he's probably never going to come back here and hold down a regular starting place again

Alright. Because I don't know you, I can't judge if it was sarcasm or if you actually meant it.
