ozleicester Posted 25 September 2011 Posted 25 September 2011 I am sick and tired of the term "cringeworthy", everything that doesnt fit with the "real fans" (as opposed to plastic, lets not even go there) opinion of what is "real" support, is immediately labelled cringeworthy. It sounds to me that too many people fear some sort of embarrassment Who are you scared of being embarrassed in front of?... away fans?... and lets face it, who cares about them? authentic fans?... what the hell are they? your uber cool mates... they aint gonna be at the game anyway...and if they are... bouncing like a bunny and screaming when we score is surely more embarrassing? Its time to end cringeworthy, support how you want, dance to the goal music, clap before free kicks...ANY FVCKING THING... if it means you are supporting LCFC on our trip back to the premier league.

Is this because I called that clapping thing cringeworthy? It's nothing to do with being a real fan. It's just completely embarassing. It's the shittest noise I have heard at a game. No I don't dislike for fear of looking sad in front of my mates. They like doing the clappy thing. Though I do call them ***** for doing it.
