In the short time Ricardo played i still maintain it cost us a playoff place and that was down to Sven . The poor guy was hounded by the Weale lovers, every time he played. Wonderful for confidence, eh? He was a better keeper than Weale, in my view, and as I have said before, the Weale lovers have all disappeared now.

Secondly, I'd like to defend my teams manager and it's players. This time last year we were scraping the bottom of the Championship with a below par manager, a chairman that only half the fans favored, and a team which looked like they really didn't want to be wearing blue. Sven came in, and COMPLETELY turned the team around for the better. We got in a run that got us to the play offs and even some of us believed we would make automatic, unfortunately we fell off towards the end through no one elses fault but our own. We got to summer and everyone was hyping about the owners money and sven again splashed out bringing in over 10 players amounting to a lot of money. Yes I totally agree that by the end of the season we should be in the top 4. But give it time..We've lost 2 games. Our away form has been excellent and our recent results show that we're not a team anyone expects to beat. 8 points from 12? I mean come on who could ask for more? Oh yeah, us. This exact date last year, we were bottom of the Championship with 5 points and a minus 11 goal difference. Now we're 1 point off the play offs with 38 games to play that puts us in an extremely good position if you ask me. We've got a much better squad, we can actually defend now. Conceded 1 in 3. Just stop all being fickle twats and look at where Sven has got us. up the city

Okay we are not even at the point that mr sousa was sacked yet, though at that point last season we had all but got rid of him as a forum, yet look at the players he brought, okay yuki, who else????????? A year on sven has been deraling with the mess that sousa left and trying to make it work. He brings in tonnes of new players that WILL adapt and fit our needs, yet he shoulkd be saxcked because we draw the odd away game and oh no lose every know and then!!!! if we dont go up this year sven will be out anyway, two year contract, Just love what we have got, and just cos you dont go to a game you are no less a fan, im agraphobic, so miss a hell of a lot more than you guys!!!!!!

Buggsteam Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 I'm fully behind Sven and the team. No we've not had the wonder start we all hoped for but we've not been poor either. We've played some good football at times and it will come together. Two clean sheets so the defence is improving and I belive the strikers will soon find form when nugent is back. Those who are slating Beckford, he's only had three games. Soppose they all think Torres is crap to for he's poor start at Chelsea. We were near the bottom if not the bottom this time last year and Sven got us to a whisker away from the play offs. He will get us up there again. Were one point out of them at the mo and only 7 off 1st which is not hard to make up. Were unbeaten in five which is a good run. Draw away and win at home is promotion form. One thing I have noticed of alot of our fans on here, they have forgotten our motto. KEEP THE FAITH. FOXES NEVER QUIT for all the moaners on here, why don't you follow Man U if you want perfect football and win every week and let me know which Champions league you manage as you seem to know more then Sven. Reading some of these post makes me ashamed sometimes to be a fox fan at the way are fans are. Just gives they opposition fans something to laugh at us all. We should stand together and support the team we love thru thick and thin. In Sven I trust up the Foxes

The games he played Ricardo cost us a playoff place . The players had no confidence in him the fans like wise, in fact everyone but Sven who was too proud to admit he had dropped a bollock and stubbornly stuck to what was obviously not working . As bad as weale was he was no where near as bad as that old has been Ricardo , he could not even catch a ball just flapped and often punched it out when it was easier to catch it . Ricardo was Sven's idea and his idea only .. :dunno: :dunno: I had this opinion until I got my wish and Weale replaced Ricardo and I saw what Sven was seeing in training; neither of them could catch crabs at an Essex Jody Marsh gang bang.

Number 6 Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 One of Sven's biggest points this season was competition for places. We have one of the strongest squads in the league. Considering the dense set of fixtures in this league I think as the season progresses we will see the benefit of this approach. Especially over the winter period.
