Dylan Posted 26 September 2011 Posted 26 September 2011 Just looking for a list of the 'richest' football clubs in the world; in terms of the combined wealth of their owners... can't seem to find a proper list I assume QPR will be top (or thereabouts) due to Lakshmi Mittal, closely followed by Man City?
Dan Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 Man City, Anzhi and PSG all shit on QPR. Pretty sure Malaga are up there now too.
StanSP Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 Not quite sure about Man City shitting all over judging by this list. Kerimov, owner of Anzhi, is 118 on Forbes rich list, personal fortune of $7.8bn - Lakshi Mittal (QPR) has $31.8bn. Owner of PSG is Qatar Investment Authority, and CE of that is this man. Not sure how much his personal fortune is though.
The Doctor Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 KingPower have got to be worth more than 113m surely? They couldn't reasonably afford the outlay so far if that was their wealth. Saying that, isn't there another benefactor in the background - what's he/she worth and who are they?

StanSP Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 Rangers own 0.2% of Arsenal?!? Yeah no idea how that works.
Kent Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 KingPower have got to be worth more than 113m surely? They couldn't reasonably afford the outlay so far if that was their wealth. Saying that, isn't there another benefactor in the background - what's he/she worth and who are they? It's a consortium, not just King Power.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 I'm sure a significant chunk of the money being invested in us came from an Indonesian billionaire? Or did I dream that part?
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 27 September 2011 Posted 27 September 2011 Rangers own 0.2% of Arsenal?!? According to Wikipedia's source for that, Arsenal gifted Rangers some shares in the 1930s, and they've retained them ever since.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Don't forget, ahem...........Bristol City with their minted chairman as we were so often reminded Like to see the fecker spend some of that dosh now. Idiot.

MrSpaM Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 That wikipedia list is the most confusing thing ever, who ever says £4,000 million ?!?
