demon_dog Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Can't say I ever saw Fryatt do that ! Oh............. just a minute. How often did Fryatt score when only the keeper to beat? Keep it up David, the more the merrier.
thybluefox Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Most unsuccessful thread since "Worst team in 40 years".
1964FOX Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Outrageous behaviour by a player and another thing that bloke Howard punching his fists inthe air at the Kop, trying to incite a riot from the home fans.Sven should have strong words with them both.
Izzet is God Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Outrageous behaviour by a player and another thing that bloke Howard punching his fists inthe air at the Kop, trying to incite a riot from the home fans.Sven should have strong words with them both. Blimey...a player can't show passion any more in a local derby??? As for Howard, he's bound to be up for the game as it's against one of his old stomping grounds who moved him on for "not being good enough quality". If it was such a bad goal celebration/unsporting behaviour than Nugent would of got booked for it....In my eyes if the ref's see a bit of shushing as fine then so do I... it can only spur a player on to perfom against such critics and then have a sign to show that he can prove them wrong! People will be saying fans shouldn't sing anymore next....
Fox92 Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 I'm alright with it when players do it, its sometimes funny because they are only having a laugh. Can be annoying on what they do though, I mean, I didn't like it when we beat Portsmouth 3-1 in 2003/04 season when we were already relegated and Lua Lua come over to take a corner a pointed to his Premier League badge on his shirt - I can always remember that. Sometimes frustrating when players do it against us, but in the end its just abit of fun.

paddy Agyemang Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Look, I love the bloke, and if he keeps scroring like that i'm sure he will becoma a City legend. BUT. why oh why do you have to stoop so low as to go to the opposition and wind them up with your "ssssshhhhhh " sign. He did exactly the same scoring for Portsmouth against us last year, so im not having any "Leicester thro and thro" shite. Football has got enough twats gobbing it out without player intervention. I would rather you spent your 20 secs of fame celebrating with us foxes fans rather then trying to be the Big Me-man. Nugent, your better than that!! Get the fuVk out of here, Nugent's celebration was quality, anyone that taunts the other fans is quality in my opinion. Keep it up Nuge
MrSpaM Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 It was a local derby ffs, why would he not want to wind up the opposition?!?
tomtom Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Fair play...i didn't see it Who are you? Arsene Wenger ?
Number 6 Posted 3 October 2011 Posted 3 October 2011 Nuge's number one aim when he steps onto the pitch should be to silence the oppo fans. He's doing that through the goals he is getting and long may the celebration continue.

Although not as naff as ear cupping & badge kissing
