MC Prussian Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Poor game all around. We looked second-best all game long, even with 11 men on the pitch. Lacklustre performance, especially from midfield. Disappointed, but we didn't deserve anything out of this.
buzzy Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Birmingham have a good team, think we're making way too much out of this defeat. that as to be one of the worst birmingham team for a while and they were there for the taking
Nick Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011
This.... Just to come out with a random comment with no attempt at any explanation or analysis just ain't worth it.
Ill nail my colours to the flag and simply say that Sven has got to take his head out of his arse and try to WIN games away from home.. I say again, to neither have Lloyd Dyer or Jeff Schlupp even on the bench today smacks of Sven looking for an early goal and then to sit on a lead.. Utterly utterly defensive and yet another boring game to watch on
tv

As usual. Had we nicked a goal you'de not even be on here. Negativity in a closet. I told you so in a bucket. And misery by the gallon. We need a right winger we all know that. It's not svens fault we lost today - look to the players.
Number 6 Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Not much Sven could have done to account for how quickly things went wrong in the second half. Yes we should have maybe gone at them a bit more but I hope this was translated at half time. No chance to see if it was. Looked comfortable in the first half and fancied us to go on and score. Unfortunately we found the self-destruct button.
Fox92 Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 We looked horrible. I'm glad I chose to avoid the game. We looked very, very poor, defensive and negative. Peltier was probably the best player though. I felt for Danns, I don't think he deserved to come off, same for Vassell. I also felt for Nugent who looked alone and in need of a partner. Beckford does my head in because he hardly tries, and I thought Wellens was good when he come on - Once he got into the game, he created a few good chances for us - especially the one Beckford didn't control.
