Although the latest thing over here for the kids seems to be wearing as many of the bands as possible. Saw a kid last night in a restaurant that must have had about 20 different bands on one wrist. Looked bloody stupid.
Matt Posted 25 June 2005 Posted 25 June 2005 I make my Make Povery History band - I have heard about them being made in a "sweatshop" but I have heard nothing confirmed about this, and I know if they have been made in a "sweatshop" it defeats the whole object of the campaign but the more people that wear (Fashion or the real reason) its brings more support for Making Poverty History! Add your voice - Sign the List...MAKE POVERTY HISTORY! And I also wear my LiveStrong band. Both bands and both campaigns I feel strongly about!

Ive also helped kids who have been bullied. Im also wearing a band to promote a ophanage in South Africa called Hope House. Some of my mates are going there later next month.

Something that doesn make them feel negative. Okay, it might make them fat but they dont see it in that way, they see it as a confort factor. If that makes sense! Umm...bullying might make some kids do something about their weight but why should they? They should be happy how they are and do it for themselves, and not because they are being bullied. This is with everything. You shouldnt live life to please other people.
