The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Author Posted 28 October 2011 BAD - Don't think Ricky Otto, Joey Beauchamp (?) or Peter Ndlovu ever played for Palace.
The Doctor Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 who did sperroni play for thought he wore trakie bottoms Speroni does play for palace but it was kiraly who wore his pajama bottoms for matches.
Zingari Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 good ; their list of famous supporters is probably worse than ours http://www.holmesdale.net/page.php?id=82&story=4154&p=3 (apart from eddie izzard )
The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Author Posted 28 October 2011 I hope the Palace lot are finding this enlightening.
haraven Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Good: Before moving to Selhurst Park in 1924 their home stadium was called the Nest. Bad: They are not made of crystal, but of glass. So is the original Crystal Palace. Braggers.
Paulmot Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Speroni does play for palace but it was kiraly who wore his pajama bottoms for matches. ok thx only 50% wrong
The People's Hero Posted 28 October 2011 Author Posted 28 October 2011 Where would we place Palace in a current championship table of likeability? I'd have them top 6 I reckon.
Zingari Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 good; TPH is posting on FT in his own inimitable style
Mattheagle Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Hello Leicester people, I'm a Palace fan and I was pleasantly surprised with the number of nice things you've managed to say about another team so I have decided to set up my own thread on one of our forums... http://www.cpfc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=226212 Shall be interesting to see what these guys have to say. If you would like to join in I would highly recommend you say 'FFS MURRAY!!' at the end of your post

All the more impressive since until very recently, they really haven't had a lot to cheer about. Enjoy Selhurst tomorrow mate.
Tielemans63 Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 They bought Ade from us for £3.5 million didn't they? Is that not, in some ways, an even more stupid transfer than us signing him for £5 mill? He'd actually did ok for Wolves!
I am Rod Hull Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Good... Best kit ever ever. White with the sash. Bestest ever in the whole history of footie kits ever ever.... 70`s / 80`s one`s BTW...

Just to clear it up, we call fvcking hate the bloke!

rico Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Bad : Thomas Brolin,Sasa Curcic (sex addict with big nose) and Lombardo Good: Chris Armstrong (centre forward with malteser on the end of his nose)
OzFox Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Got bored thinking/talking about Leicester. PALACE Good: Follow us around the divisions so play them a fair bit One of the easier grounds to get to from Kent Usually a Tues night and tends to be good atmosphere Stevie Claridge They had Atilio Lombardo and some other legends for a bit Quite a good name for a team Managed by an ex-player which I quite like - he could become a legend there Good academy (also see bad) The Ultras are sometimes fun to watch Paid us money for Akinbiyi Gave Trev a home for a bit BAD: Can't be referenced ever without mention being made of their academy. Boring. We get it. Really poor kit. Just nasty. Always underestimate that train from VIctoria and need a pi ss. I think they might steal Tunchev Zaha is a pe nis. Yyyy'eeeeeeeeeeeeagggllleeesss . That's annoying. ps where is yer bleddy yyyy'eeeaggglleee. We've got a yyyy'fffaaallllcccooonnn. I welcome suggestions/thoughts. A few random thoughts... We always seem to play them when I'm back in the UK, so half the matches I see are Leicester v Crystal Palace With the exception of the playoff final, the games are usually mind numbingly dull. The two recent FA Cup games spring to mind. The only vaguely interesting incident was Tunchev getting carried off. My most memorable games at Selhurst were v Wimbledon. Coco Cola semi, a cracking 3-0 win in the league, and the first place we played after Heskey left (the start of a long slide) Selhurst Park used to be a dog to get to from West London. Driving there was like navigating a maze. Now it's a doddle from the new-ish Shepherds Bush station Always hated the fact that one end of Selhurst backed onto a supermarket Did they really give us money for Akinbiyi? "Team of the Eighties"...ha ha.
