Webbo Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 A football hooligan stormed a Dutch Cup match to try and Kung Fu kick the rival team's goalkeeper - who himself was then sent off for flooring his would-be attacker. Chaos erupted 36 minutes into Ajax's clash with AZ Alkmaar at the Amsterdam Arena stadium last night after the drunk 19-year-old ran onto the pitch. AZ Alkmaar's Costa Rican keeper Esteban Alvarado spotted him launching his flying-kick and skillfuly tripped him - before launching into his own attack with a series of his own kicks. http://www.youtube.c...d&v=5o_33OUDOSo (Don't know why the vid won't embed)
StanSP Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 Good on the keeper. Don't condone unprovoked violence so in a way I'm glad he dealt with the 'attacker' accordingly.
Jagdinho Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 All the teams players went off too protest against the red card I think!
MC Prussian Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 . Shame about the red card. Bloody referees. About time players act accordingly against numbskulls like that pitch invader.
accessory Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 All the teams players went off too protest against the red card I think! The manager called them off, as he was concerned (and rightly so) about the safety of his players. The pitch invader has had the nerve to report the keeper to the police for assault!
MPH Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 The manager called them off, as he was concerned (and rightly so) about the safety of his players. The pitch invader has had the nerve to report the keeper to the police for assault! if you look at the first attack blow..... the pitch invader CLEARLY goes straight for the keeper and attempts to kick him first.... I personally feel the keeper has every right to put the pitch invader in a position where he can not harm him. again.... On this occasion, if that was on the street, i dont feel anything would happen to the keeper. The club should of in no way apologized and its disgraceful for the keeper to get sent off.... here is the BBC copy of that clip as the llast one has been taken offline.... http://www.bbc.co.uk...europe-16308483
MC Prussian Posted 22 December 2011 Posted 22 December 2011 News update: Alvarado is taking legal actions against the attacker. The Dutch FA has rescinded the red card against Alvarado. Justice. At last.
Tevez Posted 23 December 2011 Posted 23 December 2011 He's got patterns in his head he's got to be a nutter.
