TrentFox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 I had openly said i wasn't a Neil Danns fan in the past, but i wish to eat my own words. Really impressed with him lately, especially tonight. Well done to him. Excuse the arrogance of this, but I gave you a point for humility in admitting a 'hasty' assessment. Good for you. Now how do we get the whole blooming crowd to do the same about the team as a whole ?????
ithuriel Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Tonight he did something he has not done in any previous game, he sat in front of the back four defending and then would take the ball off our defence and run through the middle attacking. He looked very decent for once, maybe Pearson has found the correct position for him though it does not bode well for king if that is the case?
Kierzz Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 let's not forget, Pearson tried to bring Danns to Hull over the summer but we got him instead. Therefore Pearson clearly rates the guy so its no coincidence why he has been a regular despite some "off" performances. However, I really rate Danns in the middle and if he replicates his form for Crystal Palace, he will become one of our key players. As he almost showed tonight, but by his high standards, he will improve a lot more.
chili_con_carne Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 I don't think we was fit earlier on. He seems quite a bit quicker now and he looks to have trimmed down. Pearson must have told him
