We are decent in possession but pathetically bad out of possession. Whether that's our counter press after we lose the ball which is non existent and leaves us so open to counters. Or the movement off the ball when we are in possession. No one breaks the lines. No one drifts in and out of the half spaces. Etc Both of the above were so key to us being a success during the (possession based) positional style of play under Maresca. Fix the above, and I think this style can work. And all it needs is good coaching and a hunger from the players to work hard on the pitch.

I was always impressed with him when he played for Southampton during the season they got promoted with us from the championship. He was one of their key players and was great in possession. I think Martin is hoping he is the sort of player that will play more risky passes between the lines which we are lacking at the moment from our current central midfielders Therefore, seems a very good signing at League 1 considering he's still only 26. Hopefully we can keep him fit.

Page is another level and 4 years younger

Young players will be inconsistent. Their number 4 did a job on him. Page was running the midfield for the first 10mins and then their number 4 got very tight to him and bullied him a bit. The manager could have helped Page out by dropping Sammy a bit deeper in the second half to help us get a bit more control in midfield.

Terrible defending for the first two goals. Really has no idea how and when to play an opposition player offside. Also with the pace he has, there is no need for him to defend this way.

Doesn't seem to have the physicality to be a number 8 or able to play passes that can open up opposition defences. Not sure where he should play. Possibly as an anchoring No. 6 but he is probably too lightweight for that position when put of possession.

This kid is too good for us. I hope he leaves for the sake of his own career and doesn't allow us to ruin it for him.

This guy was the strangest signing. I assumed he was bought as a striker which he clearly hasn't been. He offers nothing in the 10 position other than being able to run a lot. Been poor every match I've seen him in so far and well behind the other 10s we have

The worst goalkeeper playing for us that I've seen at corners in a long time. Even worse at corners than Weale and Ricardo

Well Okoli is an absolute beast from a physical perspective...but he was still comfortably the worst player on the pitch yesterday. So theres a bit more in it than just getting more physical players. Desire and work rate are the other two key things we have been missing in our squad since Enzo left, and desperately need to get back

He would struggle even if he got signed by Oadby Town

I liked him. Good one on one defender. He's fast. Comfortable on the ball. And he can carry the ball. Just needs to get better at backing himself to play forward passes. Good prospect considering he's 19

Robbed a living as a footballer. I don't understand how managers rate this guy. He is so so average. He can't dictate the tempo. He can't play passes to between the lines. He doesn't win tackles. He's not physical. He can't create. He's not physical or good in the air. He isn't brilliant at retaining possession. He doesn't score or assist. He definitely isn't a leader. He isn't an intelligent passer or defender. Other than being able to run a lot (like a lot of people can), I can't see what good attributes he has as a footballer

The most fortunate footballer I can remember. Broke into the team from the academy when we had about 6 injuries at LB. All the stars aligned for him. He has stolen a living as a professional footballer ever since. He never looks up to the level of the league he's playing in, and that includes League 1!

He puts effort in which is rare nowadays for player in a Leicester shirt. Great tackle when chasing back on their striker. Never thought I would say this, as I've never rated him, but we should give Hamza the 6 shirt. He's better than Skipp at this level and is the type of player we need at the moment.

What has happened to him?! To go from being called into the full Italian squad (when they were quite good) to get to the level of footballer he is now... He either has the best Agent in the world or his form has dropped off a cliff. Not even League 1 standard at the moment which is saying something considering the athletic ability he ha been born with

He's always impressed me when he's played against Leicester and also will link up with Chaplin very well. He was also key to them being promoted to the Championship and still quite a key player when they got promoted to the Premier League the first time. Another solid signing by the new Director of Football....
