In Europe it's The White Island - Ibiza

Tough question: All my close family who have been there pick New Zealand but of the dozen or so countries I have visited I'd say Italy just shaves it from Switzerland and Monaco (France).

Visited Sorrento, Capri, Venice, Rome, Milan and Bologna during holiday and squash tours and found the relaxed atmosphere and hospitality wonderful. Climate was pleasantly warm even in March.

They love kids, the history is compelling, the scenery (especially around Vesuvius and the Amalfi coast) is both spectacular and almost always backdropped by the bluest of skies. Slowish pace, happy, enthusiastic people and wonderful food complete a memorable experience.

For women though, perhaps surprisingly, I'd go for Bulgaria. Slim, shapely, intelligent, charming and unaffected was my experience in the Black Sea resorts of Varna and Nessebar. They seem to like the English cos it gives them a fairly rare chance to practise their English, especially out of season (always my favourite time for foreign visits).

England, because I've lived here for 18 years and it hasn't treated me too badly.

Wit until you start paying tax and have a house - you'll re-think that!

Well i did enjoy visiting India. i got to see a lot more about the origins of the indian culture and did make me realise how lucky i was. its not the best sight when your in a nice hotel and there are people living in slums across the river.

But for a relaxing holiday or a "fun" holiday, i would have to say Florida. We went to all the theme parks every other day and the days where we werent at a theme park, we chilled out but the pool. As a kid, its the best holiday. I also went Canada that year with school for a Skiing holiday and that was good. But Florida was the best!
