Lets all blame Pearson...............

How can we blame Pearson?

The current players we have are not his signings, they were 2-3 seasons ago, and at that time were great.

Pearson knows that times have changed and that he needs better players to achieve promotion.

Our squad has looked technically inferior to all sides this season, in fact our squad is extremely poor.

Look at all of our summer signings, how many have not been used by ericksson or Pearson? Pantsil, Johnson, Ball etc. Yes, clearly Svens recruitment process was excellent

Pearson needs time to build a squad, look at Hull's extremely well balanced squad. They have.....

Wingers - Brady and Stewart

Different types of midfielders (not like us) - mckenna, koren and cairney etc.

Different types of strikers (not like us) - Fryatt, adebola, mcclean etc.

We are not good enough, give pearson time and we will assemble a quality squad just like Hull have. My personal opinion is that our owners have refused to allow Pearson to sign players which are not big names, e.g. sharp, stewart etc.

Oh, and in terms of delusions of grandeur (or whatever he said) - he was correct, i would take barnsleys first eleven over ours, drinkwater, vaz te, davies, perkins etc all proved this season that they are better than what we have, if you saw us play Barnsley under sven you would have seen this aswell.

favorites? you mean the players we have which have to play because we have no replacements? amazing how big everyone assumed this squad was at the start of the season, every time i have looked on the program we have had a smaller squad.

But he insists on playing his players (Gally, Dyer, Wellens and King) and with the exception of Dyer today they were all awful.

Different types of strikers??

Fryatt- 10 touch fryatt

Adebola and Mcclean- both target men aren't they?

Apart from Danns, who he played, and Abe, who else does he have to choose from?

His hands are tied and with Beckford not performing you can see why went 4-3-3 today as there was no other strikers available except carthorse Howard.

What happened to giving the guy a chance to bring in his own players then judge....he knows what we need

The truth of the matter is Sven bought a load of crap there lies the problem, and Pearson is getting the blame for it.

It's not a case of blaming Pearson more a case of expecting him to take responsibility.

He likes to trott out a few lines which a few fans are now beginning to question. He likes to highlight the lack of width within the squad, what he fails to acknowledge is that the 'wingers' we have are the one he left us with minus N'Guessan.

He also reminds us that the squad is 'unbalanced' but again this doesn't bear much scrutiny. In terms of midfield (which I'm sure we'll all agree is what he's non too subtly hinting at) we still have Wellens, Gally, Dyer, King and Oakley from Pearson mk1. Added to that are Abe and Moussa (Sousa) and Danns (who Pearson attempted to sign at Hull) and Johnson (Sven). We've 'lost' Spearing (loan), Adams (sold), Verma (sold) so we're roughly one player up since NFP.

The poor performances are down to the managers instructions, we haven't hoofed it for nearly two years yet we are now.

The truth of the matter is we are going backwards, Pearson has ****ed up getting anybody in in the loan window or so far this month and today's team is the worst set-up I've seen here since Sousa.

So how would you have changed todays team?

Abe DM

Moussa CM

442

Beckford CF

Possibly Kennedy LM and Dyer RM

Hopper Bench

Plenty of options - I'd have brought Chris Wood in myself this week as well.

No, i mean the players that are shit, that he signed first time around, that sven couldn't get rid of cuz nobody wants them. he prefers them over an international midfielder who is now playing for udinese but apparently couldn't dislodge the wonderful pairing of dyer and wellens from our team. FFS.
