What now for Bamba?

Now that ssl and mills have become solid what does the future hold for sol? Personally I think he's to good a player to be on the bench. It's time for him to get in that defensive midfield role !!

I don't think its any coincidence that this run has come while Bamba is not here. Bench at best is what he can hope for. Takes too many risks and would not like to see him play in midfield.

SSL and Bamba would make a dream partnership,Mills is still shakey to me he doesn't look right you can't suggest dropping our most consistant center back bamba just because St Ledger and Mills have managed to keep Southampton who had two key players out from scoring a forest team that hadn't scored in 10 games and a league two team from scoring surely?St Ledger is the best defender at the club IMO but dropping Bamba for Mills is a ludocrious suggestion.

Bamba is a great player his solid defensive partnership nearly got us innate playoffs last season and this seasons he's been good I love all these fickle fans tattooing SSL into their chest next to their "Leicester till we lose again" tattoo get a grip it's just embarrassing

What's wrong with having three solid CBs? One's bound to drop out of form or pick up an injury, I'd say three potential first choice central defenders is an absolute minimum.

Some of our fans are just retarded, Mills and SSL have a few good games together and all of a sudden we "look better without Sol." Excuse me? How many clean sheets did Bamba and Mills keep together?

Some people need to pipe down and stow the over-reactions.

If he's not sold he'd make an ideal sub, cover in defence, could stick him in midfield and you could probably stick him up front in an emergency. I really like and I hope we keep him but it wouldn't be fair to drop either SSL or Mills on current form.

He'll be sold.

We all know what Pearson wants from central defenders and it isnt charging up the field taking people on.

Mills and SSL are the future.

I agree and in an ideal world you would have 3 or 4 decent centre backs who are all happy to stay at the club, regardless of whether they are first choice or not. If Bamba is happy to stay and fight for his place then great.

Indeed. On current form.

Just because you have a love affair with Bamba doesn't mean everyone has to

I'm a fan of Bamba but on current form there is no way he should walk straight back into the side.

8 goals scored and 0 conceded, says it all.
