fadedfox Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 Been sent this - not a bad average for us! West Ham 11th in the country is pretty amazing I have to say, given they are now in 2nd tier. http://www.westhamonline.net/forum_flat.php?5937347||mc=w||
MrFox781 Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 All the teams there are the ones who should be in the prem. not the likes of wigan and shit like that.

leicesterisme Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 All the teams there are the ones who should be in the prem. not the likes of wigan and shit like that. Do your fans get you in the Premiership?
broughtonblue Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 19th in the country, happy with that as we are in the 2nd division
Ultra Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 Do your fans get you in the Premiership? No, sugar daddies do. Oh, wait...
bluesbrothers Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 Reckon if we did return to the prem, for the first season at least, we could average 28,000 min. Like to see average away day support, i reckon we must be top 10 in the country in that factor.
dog_4 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 derby only got 22k against stoke yesterday and average more in the league! which kind of highlights the fact that they five thousands of free tickets away! we used to in the championship and got 30k fans in the ground!
Tielemans63 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 I'm really surprised to see Derby's average is higher than ours. Shocked that Leeds average is so low as well. I'd have guessed at 26k+ for them.

leicesterseddon Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Solid showing from us I suppose, given our mid-table position and the fact we still haven't won 2 league games back to back yet. As others have said, Derby's figure is probably a bit flattering, but it's still solid support again given their position. The Leeds figure is low, but reflective of their internal politics really and their ticket prices, which are still the highest in the league. Away numbers are still a better indicator of a club's 'support', I think - and Leeds are still by far the best club in the league in that respect. I think that applies across all leagues to be honest - Fulham, for instance, have good home gates because a lot of neutral fans of the game go to Craven Cottage, as they are the cheapest London club in the PL. Take them out of the top division and their gates would plummet in a way ours (and other clubs') wouldn't, because their 'core' support is smaller - something you can see in their poor numbers away from home.
