beemeroo Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Very good points... but you cant drop players based on one average performance. If anything I would drop Mills right now but that is highly unlikely... Maybe bring Morgan on in the 2nd half against Brighton depending on how SSL and Mills are playing. You're right, and I'd suggest no such thing. In all honesty I've no idea how Pearson plans to juggle his wealth of defensive options. If it works the same way as his midfield though we're liable to see the same old thing regardless of merit.

I feel those were dark times and I try and put them out of my mind, knowing we are over that now with Drinkwater and Marshall coming in. (Im trying to be positive) With a now set formation we seem to be sticking with and improved balance the team should pick itself.
Mack Posted 13 February 2012 Author Posted 13 February 2012 I'm going to dig this thread up again. Bamba back this week. We have two berths that are already filled with players doing well. One or two of our Centre backs will be sitting in the stands this weekend.
Guest shearfox Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 Well it just means they are going to have to work hard and put in the effort to keep\gain their place. You always want good backup and can't expect to start with the same players every game.
LCFC FOX Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 I think Bamba will watch from the stands against Norwich. Then be on the bench for Derby. Then if we lose any of these matches I think he will be back in the side against Coventry
lcfcsnow Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Morgan is one of the most pointless signings in the history of the club, at a time when we are crying out for better midfield options we end up blowing a million at a player who is clearly no better than our 4 current centre backs.

Had to leave after 90 to get a train
jonno24 Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Read the topic title and thaught we had another La Manga on our hands
acooling08 Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Wonder if Morgan is getting fed up of not playing yet.
ealingfox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Have a good excuse to rest Bamba for a few games if Pearson wants to press on with the current pairing
GianEmmo Zola Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 We can pick 7 subs for norwich game remember. Bamba ul be on the bench as we couldnt pick 7 without him !
Mack Posted 25 February 2012 Author Posted 25 February 2012 As suspected this dilemma has come home to roost. I cant say I'm surprised it's Mills that has taken it so badly. Now we wait for the reaction of Bamba who will now be warming the bench.
