He sounds amazing. You should be happy having Einstein at the helm. Hux, I dont mean this in a way that's meant to wind you up but...What did it feel like to celebrate a goal?

I bet you're pleased about Portsmouth, Steve's had a master plan all along you see He must be religious
caz123 Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 You'd lose Beckford and Danns but not Dyer????? Dyer is consistantly shite, how he stays in the team is beyond me. Bentleys Roof is in meltdown and most want FNP replaced as soon as someone decent is available, may don't want to wait that long. We're getting further away from the play-off positions and yet Marshall and Delfonso can't get a game. If Mills is a problem then drop him and put Morgan in. Bentleys roof half of them cant count past 10,geez yes lets get rid of another manager before we give him time that sounds a great idea
RedHux Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Scoring a goal was just a bit weird. Mostly because there was little point in scoring one, because we needed two and that would've signalled the end times had that happened. The most annoying thing is, we have a better manager working as his first team coach!
hackneyfox Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Bentleys roof half of them cant count past 10,geez yes lets get rid of another manager before we give him time that sounds a great idea Why the abuse? Most of them have been going far, far longer than you have. Most of them don't change their mind on a weekly basis as many of the posters on here do. I gave you reasons as to why many on the roof aren't happy with FNP. Most of us didn't want him in the first place and he has yet to do anything that will hasten us changing our minds.

Call that abuse jesus, how do you know if they have been going longer than me?Ive been on Bentleys a couple of times and to me its gibberish half the time but thats just what i think. If they aint happy with NP then thats up to them thats there opinion, but can you honestly say what good it does chopping and changing managers every few months. I think given time NP will do right by this club and thats what i see him trying to do,but maybe im wrong. Thats what makes life interesting different opinions
hackneyfox Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 The average age is 40+ so I'd hazard a guess most are older than you. Sorry if I'm wrong. Mny o here were happy that Sven was sacked so there shuldn't be a problem wth sacking again if we've made the wrong choice. Personally I think we've made a huge step backwards but if FNP was sacked I'm not that confident that anyone in the club has the nous to find the right manager, as happened this time. I think we nearly all agree that Midfield is where the problem lies, and has done for some time now. The fact that we see Dyer, Gallagher and Wellens playing week in, week out when we have Marshall and had Delfonso says it all. We should have bought replacements when we had the chance, if not we should have used the loan window far quicker. The fact that Dyer will continue to play is a disaster. He said that he'd only been looking to buy a couple of players, one of those being Sharp, meaning that he only wanted one midfield player until injuries forced his hand. Whatever people's opinions of Wellens, Gallagher and Dyer you can't expect them to play every game. We need replacements/cover and he has failed on that front. All opinions of course

All opinions of course I myself are 40 (just )I agree the midfield has not been up to scratch but i dont think getting rid of NP is the way forward,in my opinion for what its worth if he had stayed and been gave the backing sven was then he would have spent the money more wisely and would have still brought in younger hungrier players and would have had a full pre-season with them. But hey what do i know if he does get the chance to have a pre season and rebuild his own team and then we still dont dont do well then fair enough replace him,but i think at this moment in time its too soon Just opinions of course
flowwolf Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 How can an automatic choice for Eire be a bad player . Arguably they are as good as England You must be referring to a couple of drunks arguing on a park bench. Ireland as good as England your having a giraffe. lol lol lol lol

What are you basing this on ? Pearson as no track record of success, if you take out of the equation when he managed a team in the THIRD tier, his record is garbage. The man repeats his own mistakes week after week, plan B is bring on that useless lump Howard ! He buys players for his weak positions and doesn't play them. You want to put a bit of thought into your posts, then count up to ten. You base your opinion on blind hope, please tell me what our manager as done in the past that gives you this hope that he can take us forward ? While we're on about managers, do you remember the idiots who kept on about Taylor - give him time, he's a good coach ?
DorsetFox9 Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Love the negativity around the forum! its a wonder why Leicester isn't that high on the most suicide's list

I think NP needs more time than he has had.I dont think he should have gone in the first placeIf you dont agree with me then that is fine you are entitled to your opinion. If Sven had stayed how do you know we would have been any better off? You can take the piss out of my posts all you like mate, but they are my views
Babylon Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Mny o here were happy that Sven was sacked so there shuldn't be a problem wth sacking again if we've made the wrong choice. Sven was sacked after over a year in charge, having probably spending nearly £20m if you include loan fees we paid out last season. And we were actually lower in the table that we are now when he went. If, after the summer Pearson has made no significant steps forward, they will probably look at the situation. But, as it stands he has been here around three months. I think we nearly all agree that Midfield is where the problem lies, and has done for some time now. The fact that we see Dyer, Gallagher and Wellens playing week in, week out when we have Marshall and had Delfonso says it all. It doesn't say it all. Marshall has been here four games, would you expect Pearson to drop players when the team had performed well against Boro and Cardiff? And Delfonso is not a winger. We should have bought replacements when we had the chance, if not we should have used the loan window far quicker. And what if what was available was no better than what we already had? He said that he'd only been looking to buy a couple of players, one of those being Sharp, meaning that he only wanted one midfield player until injuries forced his hand. He said nothing of the sort.

I've employed hundreds of people over the years, and if someone is not up to the job, time will not make him more capable, especially if it's your time and remember time equals money, and football more than anything is about money. You have your views and I respect them, but they are wrong, but so what. I by the way was happy to see Sven go, but he went too early, in the sense that we where not ready with the correct replacement. I never liked Pearson first time round and thought it was a disaster having him back, was I right ?

Babylon Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 why does he need more time ? I've employed hundreds of people over the years, and if someone is not up to the job, time will not make him more capable Do the people you hire reply on the performances of a group of individuals under them? Do they have a budget to work to, but all the people in their team are contracted and cannot be fired no matter how bad they perform? Do they have to reply on other companies wanting those shitty employees off them before them can replace them with better? Does this person and their team come up against another person and their team twice a week on a football field to try and get three points? ...If not it's hardly comparable. Pearson may or may not fail in his task here, who knows. But three months is no time to sort out the mess. Do you think Hull were glad in the end they didn't sack him after his poor start there? Why did they bother giving him more than three months if you can see how it's going to end up after that amount of time?
Babylon Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 I never liked Pearson first time round and thought it was a disaster having him back, was I right ? Shock horror, another one of the most vocal anti Pearson people admits they never liked him. Mind made up already by the looks of things. Disaster? We're higher then when Sven got sacked and It's been three months.
