Parking in Derby

Dunno guys sorry, can't remember as I haven't been there since 1998! It's a bit of a blur now but I remember parking about a mile or maybe more away in suburbia and we had to run to the ground, just getting there in time for kick off, Pride Park is a bit out in the fields for my liking. My car wasn't troubled though. Sorry to be of little-no help.

I have been many times to Pride Park (going tonight as well) and to be fair there isn't loads of car parks (you may want to head to the City Centre or something for real security if you are bothered). However, we always parked in a small car park down a little back street called Harrow Street (I think that is it). This is next to the railway bridge which is next to Pride Park. (edit: you will have to park then walk over the bridge and then Pride Park is on the right). This may be decent for you if you have no other option.

Have a look on Google Maps if you have time, just to make sure you think it is safe because I don't want to be responsible if you do park there  (Not sure how many LCFC fans go in there, but I have always found it ok along with the 5-15minute walk).

Parking is pretty mad near the ground as it's basically on an industrial estate. A lot of businesses open up their car parks and charge - don't know whether they'd allow obvious away fans, mind.

Just a warning, getting OUT of the area after the game is ruddy difficult, it gets majorly congested.

Train is ideal IMO.

If you get there early there is a fire company just off the a52 toward pride park that you can park on. It's about £4. You can also park chadeston the other side of the a52 but it's a bit of a walk.

Isn't that when we won 0-4? Are you going tonight, 0-4 again?
