Buzzell Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 Alright guys, I keep getting booted out of matches halfway through on Fifa UT. It always say I lose connection to the EA servers even though I'm still connected to the Internet. I played about 10 games and got kicked in all of them. So I decided to wire my PS3 directly to my router hoping the problem would be solved but it still kicks me out of games. Now I've just recently had Virgin broadband installed in my home, used to have BT but never has these problems. I've tried everything. Rebooting my ps3, my router, but still it kicks me out. I'm getting pretty wound up with it, anybody got any advice as to what I should do? Help is much appreciated, thanks.

stix Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 Could be your firewall settings. When the menu screen is up it will say something like Firewall Status in the top left of the screen. this should be set to open(green).

stix Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 There are a few ways of doing it i think. Usually for me switching the router off at the plug for a few minutes does the job but if not then google it. It is a common issue i think.
Saxondale Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 I think it's just an issue with the servers themselves. I'm convinced they take them down for routine maintenance without warning sometimes too.
Jagdinho Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 On fifa 11 im hardly ever managing to get on EA servers. Awful!
DB11 Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 PS3, FIFA Ultimate Team and the Virgin Super Hub is a known problem. You can Google it and there are many results.
GLC Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 Yeah and the 7th thread about fifa 12 on the first page.....
MC Prussian Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 It's just the EA servers - they can be incredibly shit at times and EA neither warn people beforehand nor apologize for kicking you out of an ongoing match or trying to complete trades in the Watch List. I'm still playing on FIFA 11 UT and the issue comes up every once in a while.
