Callabinho Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 I do feel for them, but I'm afraid one man leaves almost every team in a financial mess when he leaves them. And he isn't Serbian when you have the amount of players Harry likes at his disposal it's no wonder Pompey started getting tossed around like a ball, Imagine the debt's he would have accumulated, and the colossal wage bills. Spurs could probably field three teams with the amount of players they have.
yorkie1999 Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 What happens about the FA cup, because chelsea knocked portsmouth out of the cup, but if that result doesn't count.....
The Doctor Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 What happens about the FA cup, because chelsea knocked portsmouth out of the cup, but if that result doesn't count..... most likely nothing, because that was in round 3, no-one that Pompey had knocked out to take their place. Chelsea would just have had a bye.
wellyfox Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 Brum have had a transfer embargo put on them. Carson yeungs bank accounts are frozen. Could brum be close to admin Admin could be our player of the season and have as many league goals as beckford if he manages a hattrick before the end of the season. lol
The People's Hero Posted 2 March 2012 Posted 2 March 2012 so if all the other 23 clubs go out out business we go up as champions- bring it on Sadly, I'm afraid we also finish bottom and get relegated. And we'd deserve to, having secured only zero points from an entire season.
Lambert09 Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 I would not want to support a team playing Portsmouth atm....Boro could have just won that for nothing...not a nice thought for any fan
NeilyBoy Posted 3 March 2012 Posted 3 March 2012 How does relegation work? I presume bottom two get relegated thus allowing for 3 to get promoted. But what about League 1 and 2? I presume they'd keep the relegation count the same, but add one to the promotion spots for each league, effectively passing the missing spot down the ladder until it reaches the bottom of the blue square leagues wherein they add an extra team and problem solved. Unless I've missed something blindingly obvious.
