Out here in Italy and been to mugello for the gp , took my champions flag with me also ,had strangers coming up wanting pictures took with the flag , and they all knew about leicester and Ranieri, was brilliant.

I've just found out the terrible news that a family friend, Andy Soar, has died this afternoon during the senior IoM tt. Andy is from Loughborough and was only in his second tt.

He won the IoM manx gp 2 years ago and I remember talking to him in my uncles kitchen shortly after he got back. He was over the moon with the achievement but he was more excited about the prospect of going back to the island and taking part in the tt. He was impressive last year considering the machinery he had at his disposal and he seemed to be building on that this year. Today's tragic events have robbed us of a great rider and great man.

First 'non' factory bike win since 2006 :)

Estoril - When Elias inherited a pair of Rossi's SNS by accident.

 

Moto 3 was a superb race yesterday. Great formula, which has been better that ever this year. 'Pecco's' pass for the win was possibly one of the greatest moves I've ever seen into the Geert Timmer chicane.

Last time I recall a Honda letting go so spectacularly, Nicky Hayden had just blown up the 'Pedrocycle' at Sachsenring. I remember Mamola who then worked for British Eurosport vaulting the barrier to retrieve bits of mangled valve and piston ring. 

 

Great victory for Dovi yesterday. Rossi must be absolutely bewildered as to how Maverick got away with running the soft rear.

Was bad for jack miller, qualified on slicks started on pole on slicks, rest of the riders coming in because they’d chose the wrong tyres then refusing to start from the pits, as the rules state, Marquez acting like a twat and not having any regard for other riders. But still, at least the lad from cov won it, even though he’s an aragant **** in real life.
