Guest Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Is this debate going as well as you envisaged Furious?
Amin Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Obviously very different types of singers/performers, but I prefer MJ.
BoneDog Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 No pedalo? No pedal cycle? Or did you mean paedo? I meant paedo but I spell it pedo because paedo looks like it sounds like pie-dough, so I use the simple version that the dislexias can understand.
FuriousFox46 Posted 25 April 2012 Author Posted 25 April 2012 Is this debate going as well as you envisaged Furious? Yeah, pretty much
Guest MattP Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Elvis by a mile, got loads of his stuff. Only really liked Billie Jean by MJ. Oh and Elvis didn't **** kids in his spare time. Well he did I suppose but 14 year old birds not 5 year old boys.
Haydos Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Out of interest, what's somebodies personal life got to do with their music?
Raw Dykes Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Out of interest, what's somebodies personal life got to do with their music? It affects a normal person's thoughts while they listen to it. It's been scientifically proven that any pleasure a normal person might have once had when hearing a track by Gary Glitter is now terminated entirely by the mind of that normal person remembering Mr. Glitter's filthy behaviour. Such a daft question.
Guest MattP Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Out of interest, what's somebodies personal life got to do with their music? Nothing, just don't personally want to put music into the pocket of Jacksons and Glitters etc I'd feel complicit.
BoneDog Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 Talking of Glitter I was whistling "Do You Wanna Be In My Gang" on the way to the shop the other day when I suddenly realised what I was doing! Hope no pisser heard me! Edit : Isn't Glitter back in the country and living free now? IT'S BLOODY DISGRACEFUL! You'd probably spend more time in prison for filling in your tax forms wrongly by mistake!
Rincewind Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 I don't think MJ did anything wrong. He was just naive. He never had a childhood growing up so as soon as he had the chance he wanted to be a child and surround himself with children. The ones close to him for not advising better. Whether they tried to and he would not listen is another matter but there must have been someone that could get through to him. Now to his music. As I said in another post/thread I was never a big fan. I was a little late for Elvis. Liked some of his stuff. Favourite Jail house Rock. Not keen on his ballads. Even the die hard fans say he was never the same after serving in the army. I have an uncle who must be the biggest Elvis fan in Leicester. I remember when Elvis died his neighbour knocked on his door and said something like 'Morning Mick, by the way Elvis is dead' Uncle Mick was not pleased. He said you could have broken the news a little better. We had to pick the right time to visit. Normally when an Elvis film was on the telly. No. Just kidding he'd do his nut if we done that. Had a workmate who was an Elvis fan and he was 20 years younger than me in the 70's. Although he liked the Rock N Roll era anyway. Michel Jackson. I never was much on Jackson Five era. His Thriller album was pretty good and a few of his records around that time But I could not listen an whole album of his. Same as Elvis. There are artists that I could but they are not in the poll.
21st Century Fox Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 I'm not sure where he acquired his medical degree, but I firmly believe Michael Jackson was a paediatrician.
Rincewind Posted 25 April 2012 Posted 25 April 2012 There was a story a few years ago where a mob hounded a new neighbour because they heard he was a peodotrician. One reason why you cannot leave matters of justice to the masses.
Daggers Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 Out of interest, what's somebodies personal life got to do with their music? The question is "Who is better?" No mention of music there.
Zingari Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 The question is "Who is better?" No mention of music there. Where's your CoCo-lin the Clown avatar gone ?

He did a lot wrong. His mind was warped due to an absence of a childhood and a persistent vendetta the press had against him But if you watch as many videos of him as I have, you'd know the man isn't a paedophile. Thoroughly misunderstood human being.

21st Century Fox Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 So if the bloke next door to you invites children to his house and sleeps in the same bed as them, he`s misunderstood? Come on loads of kids slept in his bed, never did them any har.....
Raw Dykes Posted 26 April 2012 Posted 26 April 2012 I remember hearing Macauley Culkin is the real father of Michael Jackson's blond haired, blue eyed children. Well, they're certainly not Jackson's. Stevie Wonder can see that much.

If you're just going to chose to ignore half my post. I don't see the point in you replying to this thread I have clearly said several times; HE DID A LOT WRONG. Go read the Sun and absorb every thing you read as fact, puppet.
