jock2612 Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 Does anyone know if his knee has required an operation? NP said that if he did not need an op he would be ready for pre-season but if he he would be out until October.
Guest Col city fan Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 He's our top assisting midfielder. He is yes.. Which demonstrates very well the massive lack of creativity and assists from the midfield players. This needs changing for next season
Grewks Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 Can we not just cancel his contract?? By the time he gets back next season he will need the majority of the rest of the season to get back fit. I cannot see him being any use the season after so what is the point in wasting money on him which can be spent elsewhere?

Bluetintedspecs Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 Richie has been a tremendous servant to the club and does posess quality, unfortunately with his legs appearing to be going coupled with the unfortunate injury it may spell the end of his career here! Ultimately, new signings aside,I feel Danns & Drinky will be our centre mid partnership next season!
NewburyFox Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 no shit sherlock, but we dont have to waste costs on his recovery etc. It would cost more to terminate his contract than to pay for his recovery.
Danno Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 All the best Richie, he would be ok to bring on if we need someone in midfield, we kept possession well when he came on instantly vs Forest away in the cup
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 It would cost more to terminate his contract than to pay for his recovery. Only if we have him insured against serious injury...
broughtonblue Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 sign his lad up has his replacement, anyone remember his goal on the players lap of honour last year, brilliant
NewburyFox Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 Only if we have him insured against serious injury... Even if he's not insured, it would still cost more to terminate his contract.

Danno Posted 12 May 2012 Posted 12 May 2012 Agreed.. he keeps the ball better than our other midfielders anyway, in my opinion. If he was faster he'd be brilliant
