burni Posted 4 May 2012 Share Posted 4 May 2012 http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/next-season we are favorites at 8/1 now May have been influenced by the quality of transfer rumours? Maybe the betting companies didn't think we were going to invest heavily again when it looks like we are.

foxoffderby Posted 9 July 2012 Share Posted 9 July 2012 I thought I would bring this topic back as were still favourites according to http://oddschecker.com allthough Bolton have crept up and understanderbly so. Can somebody with maybe some experience at the bookies advise me how they've come to this conclusion. I would say Bolton and Blackburn look pretty good at the moment and no doubt will strengthen before the season gets underway.

I think Bolton and Blackburn should be above us at the mo, as well, but they might lose a player or two before the end of the transfer window. Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 10 July 2012 Share Posted 10 July 2012 I wouldn't put us as favourites, but I would put us above Blackburn while Steve Kean's in charge. He's basically Karl Pilkington, minus the wit.
