The Doctor Posted 17 June 2012 Posted 17 June 2012 Looking at public transport it's an absolute bitch - unlikely to have a hope of getting there before half-ten, assuming buses running perfectly... Would I be able to get a lift over from someone? Getting back's fine with the buses, more just getting there on time.

Which bus is it from town to Scraptoft Al?

Pitchies not far away from The White House pub.

Ashley Posted 17 June 2012 Author Posted 17 June 2012 Really excited about this. Love a foxestalk get together might see if we could get Ched, Wilkes, Tevez, Tommeh, Sparky, OriginalRobo to boost numbers. You know you want to lads. Really excited about this. Asha Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 Hmm, I love the sound of grass pitches but Scraptoft is a trek for me and all. Anyone happen to be driving in from Birstall area?
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 Will enquire if we can have the pitchies later. 11 meet 12 start. Will give people times to get busses. This would be better, buses seem a bit irregular at the start of morning!
Father Ted Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 I used to play rugby there. Have they got pitches there?
Ashley Posted 18 June 2012 Author Posted 18 June 2012 I used to play rugby there. Have they got pitches there? Yes.
HEGGSY Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 I'll have a go as well. How much you doing it for Ash? £1/2?
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 Any chance this can change to 11am meet up 12pm kick off? Buses are a nightmare before 10am and it's quite a fair way from city centre to Scraptoft?
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 18 June 2012 Posted 18 June 2012 James, we can walk to it, its just up the road from me! Literally, the White House is on the next street!
