Although a hunk straight idea of Hell is a room with no women so they could meet you halfway but don't expect them to bend over backwards to help.

If hell really is a hot place full of other gays... Well i cant wait to be honest

I think the westboro baptist church believe that, maybe you should join.

Are these the same nutters that were on Jeremy Kyle a few years back? Sounds about right, indoctrinating their kids, making them hold the signs up, telling everyone they're going to hell if they disagree with them. Religious nutters are the worst, they always think they're doing gods work by hating and killing people. If there is a hell, they'll be the ones going there

The definition of hell is, on the last day of your life, the person you are meets the person you could have become.

Dunno where that comes from but I like it.

That's pretty deep man,

I guess it depends on what you become really, for example I am coming close to a point in my life where I am going to have to make a decision about which way my life is going, I could become a greedy corporate whore and continue down this career path which would probably lead to me being a driven corporate man, earning lots of money and having a family that I can provide for very comfortably. Or I could take the money and run go off travelling again broaden my mind if not my bank balance, or I could start a business out in Spain with a friend of mine, which is also very tempting but it could be a big risk especially at the moment, and I could lose everything, but at least I would have tried.

At the end of the day whichever of these people I become, I will look at the other one wistfully, wondering what could have been, so basically I'm going to hell whatever I decide.

I've done that twice already for two 9-12 month stints and I'm not even 30 yet. Not regretted it yet and I'm looking to do it again in 2014 to finally tour South America.

Me too, went travelling at 24, came back for a few years, then went off to Spain to teach English for a few years, came back, now if I do it again I will be pretty much burning all my bridges career wise, which I think I would be quite happy to do.

South America is awesome, would love to go back, it is such a massive and varied continent, if I went off travelling again though I would probably stick to Europe, being in Poland for the Euros reminded of how much there is to see and learn in Europe.

I like it, I went straight into Accountancy and by the age of 26-27 I realised that I really couldn't bothered to dedicate my life to something that I found extremely boring let alone continue doing all the nightschool courses etc that were necessary, makes it a much easier decision. I can understand why so many people are scared to leave what they know but you only live once so I had to do it.

Europe is fantastic, no other place has it's history and culture. I can't wait for South America, it's the only continent I haven't been to and I've got go and see what it has to offer fairly soon.

The Kevin Smith flick Red State is based on it.

Nutters.

Is INSPIRED by it, not based on it.

As far as I'm aware, as evil as Phelps and co are, they aren't involved in kidnapping and ritual executions.

You're right that no other place has it's history but if you're talking about richness of history I'd say that Asia and Africa both match it at the very least.

The middle east has a fantastic history to tell. Before we killed them all we met numerous scholars and other erudites who told of amazing old testement age sites in Iraq that they know exist but were never given the reources to develop. We saw places the pre-date christ by thousands of years.

Agreed.

Of course, I was talking about history in terms of classic culture and the arts.

As mentioned it's such a shame a lot of the history that developed in Africa and Asia we probably don't even know about now, I did a lot of reading about the Hanging Gardens of Babylon when I was younger and was fascinated by it. I can feel a topic coming on about Wonders of the World actually......
