The Year Of The Fox Posted 11 July 2012 Posted 11 July 2012 Anyone else having problems this evening? Just wondered how wide spread the problem is! Just receiving messages from hours ago!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 11 July 2012 Author Posted 11 July 2012 Strange really. Mines buggered but the missis sat next to me is having no problem at all
Stuliasz Posted 11 July 2012 Posted 11 July 2012 Been down most of the day for me, but there are two other O2 phones in my house which are fine. Hopefully will be sorted soon.
stix Posted 11 July 2012 Posted 11 July 2012 Yes mine is down too. Bar keeps filling randomly for about 10 seconds then disappearing completely.
skinnydipper Posted 11 July 2012 Posted 11 July 2012 Mine's buggered so I 've done a full reinstall before finding out it's a network problem
????? Posted 11 July 2012 Posted 11 July 2012 I've had no signal all day aswell, I rely in my phone for work and there's not much I can do now.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 11 July 2012 Posted 11 July 2012 I'd sooner be on O2 than a network I can't pay my bastard ****ing bills on because they're such simple minded ****ing ****s. Ah, Orange.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 11 July 2012 Posted 11 July 2012 I've got a signal and can make calls, but not receive them. Data works, not sure about text.
stix Posted 11 July 2012 Posted 11 July 2012 I have signal now but it is very random. Have sent texts but unsure if they have been received.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Mine is fine, sending and receiving messages from the Mrs who is in Gran Caneria at the mo. Strange how it's fine for some and useless for others....
z-layrex Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Mine's been fine all day, but mum and gf's both not working. It's weird how there's no pattern to it.
stix Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Mine's been fine all day, but mum and gf's both not working. It's weird how there's no pattern to it. I thought it could be dependant on which phone you have. Just from a sentence in the article above. I have a Galaxy S2 & so does the old dear, both have no signal.

Aah well thats that theory out the window then. I doubt it would matter about the locked/unlocked phone, i dont think O2 lock their phones down to their network. Mine is a contract phone with them & came unlocked.
Leicester_Numan Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 The 2G network is now up and running but the 3G network isn't. They're suggesting that you all turn 3G off
Captain... Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 I'm on gifgaf which uses the O2 network, was fine all day yesterday, then woke up today to no signal nothing, I've also read advice to turn off 3G, but that hasn't helped on mine.

I'm on giffgaff (HTC One S) also and I've had no problems nor as my wife (Samsung Monte) but my daughter (Xperia X10) who is also on giffgaff is experiencing problems, It's all very weird and must be phone specific.

Hmm, I'm on Sony Ericcson Experia, so maybe it is to do with the phone, mine is unlocked so it is not linked to O2, I only had problems this morning at home, when I got to work it was fine, about 11 miles from where I live, it is all, most odd, if it's down it is down, but I don't understand how for one person it is down and for someone in the same room it is working, I don't think it can be phone related as that makes no sense.
Leicester_Numan Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 What did one O2 customer say to the other? Nothing. Seriously though, they say it should all be back up and running by the end of the day
Leicfox Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 Im on xperia seems ok now Just rang her. Seems to be working now.
