AoWW Posted 29 July 2012 Posted 29 July 2012 I know nobody else gives a shit about the equestrian events but I'm off to watch the cross-country day of the 3-day Eventing at Greenwich Park tomorrow. C'mon Team GB! :ldn2012:
I am Rod Hull Posted 29 July 2012 Posted 29 July 2012 Posh folk getting thrown off horses into stagnant water!?..... Love it
Simmo86 Posted 31 July 2012 Posted 31 July 2012 Looking decent for a silver in the 3 day event thingy
ScouseFox Posted 31 July 2012 Posted 31 July 2012 Don't fully understand how this works but it's good to watch and we're good at it. Woo.
Guest MattP Posted 31 July 2012 Posted 31 July 2012 Really enjoy watching the 3 day eventing, stunning scenary and talent on show.
AoWW Posted 6 August 2012 Author Posted 6 August 2012 GB and the Netherlands are in a jump off to decide gold / silver for the Team Show Jumping.
Guest Bilo Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 I'd actually quite like to see Olympic horse racing. A sport that's participated in around the world, can be raced over a myriad of distances and situations and would offer GB a fair chance of medals. It wouldn't struggle for interest either.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 GB and the Netherlands are in a jump off to decide gold / silver for the Team Show Jumping. Is John McCririck commentating? That was cruel but.........It made me lol lol
AoWW Posted 6 August 2012 Author Posted 6 August 2012 That was cruel but.........It made me lol lol Don't you'll only encourage him.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 I did say it was cruel!! it just made me laugh
AoWW Posted 7 August 2012 Author Posted 7 August 2012 First-ever Olympic medal in the dressage for Britain - and it's team gold!!! :ldn2012:
Guest MattP Posted 7 August 2012 Posted 7 August 2012 First-ever Olympic medal in the dressage for Britain - and it's team gold!!! :ldn2012: Was an absolutely fantastic effort, beautiful.
ScouseFox Posted 9 August 2012 Posted 9 August 2012 Dressage to music was even better than normal dressage. And we won gold and bronze. Watching a horse effectively dance around to Land of Hope and Glory to take the gold medal at the Olympics was surreal but bloody fantastic.
21st Century Fox Posted 9 August 2012 Posted 9 August 2012 Having the sense of humour of a five year old, I couldn't stop laughing at this video. There's something quite surreal about a horse dancing on the spot to Phil Collins whilst shitting. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/olympics/19196356
Zingari Posted 9 August 2012 Posted 9 August 2012 Dressage is quite beautiful to watch actually , The riders , the horses , the clothes, the tack just looked so stunning especially Kristina Sprehe Well done Charlotte
