Ashley Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 FIFA have introduced a Rule/Regulation where if a player is wearing tape on his/her socks the tape has to be the same colour as the sock how pathetic.
MikeyT Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 FIFA have introduced a Rule/Regulation where if a player is wearing tape on his/her socks the tape has to be the same colour as the sock how pathetic. Why? What's the reason?
Ashley Posted 14 August 2012 Author Posted 14 August 2012 Why? What's the reason? I don't know. Trying to find out how pathetic though. I wonderd why Leicester had been wearing a light blue tape with our socks
Petchy Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 I noticed this happened in Europe last season, but was quite happy we didn't have it in England. Looks like it's caught up with us now... so stupid.
leicesterisme Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 That's what they spend their time discussing, issues like this. Absolutely pathetic.
Corky Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 These are the important issues that need resolving. Next, they should sort the rankings out to give us our rightful position, whatever that is.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 So it's like the rule enacted that stops under armour being a different colour to the kit, it's just to make the players' kit colours unambiguous in case the referee or linesman has to tell which side got the final touch in a crowded area.
Bert Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Don't they wear the light blue socks, cut the football socks and tape them so they don't have the full football sock on if you get me?
Petchy Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I know that last year they cut the socks just above the ankle, wore normal white socks underneath then taped the two together where they overlapped. I guess they'll do the same this year but with coloured socks and tape. Just a bit silly really!
